The Space:

A single story one bedroom suite close to the main pool, clubhouse and fitness center. The unit has all the comforts of home and provides a great location for getting to everything in the Coachella Valley. The living room has a queen air mattress, a wall-mounted flat screen TV and a dining table with seating for six. The bedroom has a king bed, TV and night stand and closet. The bathroom has a single vanity, a walk-in shower and a large soaking tub. The back patio opens to a quiet greenbelt within Legacy Villas. The patio has outdoor seating. The unit is a short-walk to the main pool, kids pool, fitness room and clubhouse. There is also a quiet lap pool and hot tub just steps from the back patio. The condo also has a detached one car garage available for guest use. The unit can be combined with LV026 to create a 2 bedroom unit with dual master suites (subject to availability). The condo has an interior lock-off door between the one bedroom and studio units. There is an expectation that guests minimize noise around the door from 10pm-8am.

Tired, tired, tired.

There was nothing inviting about the interior of this property. Absolute minimalist. Dark (ground level) with dark carpet and furnishings (who knows how clean it was, but I'm suspect). Beat up paint, subpar appliances (could they not supply a decent coffee maker?), silverware (straight out of the 80's?), dishes, etc. No consumables beyond paper towels and toilet paper. Couldn't they even provide a decent toilet seat (let alone a soft close one for 35?). At least the location was nice, and it was quiet!

Close to the pool but…

this condo is in a good location, however there are some things that need to be addressed. The bar stools are very rickety. The braces are broken but someone stapled them back on. Really. They should be replaced. The refrigerator makes a loud ticking sound constantly. It needs to be fixed or replaced. It does cool and freeze, but you just want to turn it off.The Tub faucet drips around once every 30 seconds.The toilet seat is loose and tightening it only helps for a short while.The dresser drawer in the bedroom is broken.The outdoor rug under the patio furniture is curled and is a tripping hazard. It is in front of the door and at the very least should be rotated so the curled side is away from the door and on the other side of the furniture.There is a light bulb burned out in the living room.There were no Kleenex or napkins at least to start the stay.The condo needs a deep cleaning. The corners and baseboards are not getting vacuumed…there were many dusty surfaces. The condo needs more attention than it has been getting.

Perfect location and condo

I was down in La Quinta to play in a tennis tournament. I have stayed at the Legacy before. This condo was very nice and was as advertised . I contacted the owners once and they got back to me immediately. Perfect for a couple. The grounds are beautiful and the location is convenient

Great location. Love Legacy Villas. This unit had been freshly painted, however I don't think the owner had inspected it afterward. We had chosen another unit. The owner decided they would like to be there for Christmas. OK by us. Another unit was substituted. Maybe in the rush paint not cleaned up.

Misleading advertising and rude customer service from Cal Vacation Villas

This was a staycation for me. I have stayed at this resort before. The misleading ad for this unit said it was "single story", it was not It was a noisy downstairs unit. It said the back patio faced a "green belt"...it did not, it faced the building next door, with a heavily used sidewalk leading to the pool, and no view at all and no privacy. The garage is not a "two-car garage as there is at other units. It was a tight fitting one-cr garage that I did not feel comfortable maneuvering my car into so did not use it. On the evening of June 15 there was no water to the unit. We contacted Cal Vacation Villas in the morning and left the unit to go to our home to shower/use the bathroom, and texted pictures to CV V and told them we would be gone for the day. That evening when we returned at 5:00 pm we dicovered there was still no water. After several tries of beig placed on hold and hung up on, we were able to talk to "Darlene" at CVV who told us all employees had gone home for the day and we would have to wait until the next day! No toilets until the next day! Not only is this wrongful and rude, it is a violation of the STVR license laws established by the City of La Quinta. After MUCH arguing with Darlene, a maintenance person was sent over and the issue was easily corrected. VERY POOR customer service and i will never do business with them again,

Great location and comfortable unit

Overall great stay. Pros: Legacy Villas is so well maintained. Great pools and jacuzzis and spectacular grounds. The unit is quiet but very close to a great satellite pool. Bed is comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. Property manager very responsive. Cons: AC is really loud and near the bedroom. No separate deadbolt from keypad lock…I prefer ability to lock from inside when there is a keypad lock for extra safety.

Had a very relaxing stay, the condo was clean and very functional. Comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. The complex facilities were excellent, a gym with lots of machines and multiple swimming pools and hot tubs. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect size for a small family. Close to the pool, quiet, close to shops and restaurants and nicely furnished. Only issue was that the front gate kept saying that they didn’t have our information and so it was a hassle getting let onto the grounds (and this was even after the company claimed to have sent our info to the front gate). Otherwise, no issues.

Vacation exceeded our expectations

I almost passed in this rental gem because it was a new listing and there were no reviews. But, my husband convinced me to take a chance. Not, only did it exceed my expectations but, we intend to return later this summer! Here are a few gems the rental listing didn’t share for those who are particular in where they stay. 1. Check-in is super easy. Just follow the pin code instructions. 2. There is a detached garage which is great for the hot summer days. 3. The kitchen has every amenity you would need. Extra dishes, plenty of silverware, coffee and wine tumblers. And my favorite was the dual Keurig coffee machine - you have a choice of filters or pods. 4. The sofa is a pull-out. Note: it is a very comfortable air mattress that will need to be inflated (pump is in the closet). My teen daughter loved it! 5: There are plenty of pools at the resort. But, you literally have a pool less than100 feet away from your condo.. 6. Internet WiFi speed is great! Login/password is on the digital welcome board. (It took awhile for us to figure it out). It was a “home away from home” experience. We loved our 3-day weekend and will be returning soon!

Great location

This is a great spot in the community. Felt almost tucked away yet close to a pool. Condo was clean and had everything we needed for a weeks stay. Only issue was we thought we would be able to park 2 cars in the garage however, this depends on if you book the full 2 bedroom. We only booked the larger side with the kitchen and one bedroom. The security will only let you park one car in the property regardless of garage size when booking just one bedroom. That was a little disappointing. Overall though this was a great unit and would book again.
