The grounds were beautiful and the staff at the front gate were kind and helpful. The condo itself had basic amenities and the beds were comfortable and spacious.However, there were a few inconveniences during our stay. When opened the garage, we found a stove stored inside, which made it impossible to park our car. We had to rely on guest parking and ended up driving around each day to find an available spot. We also had an issue with the spare bedding. Since we had six guests, we needed to use the pull-out couch. The host advertised extra pillows, sheets, and blankets would be available in the closet. But we only found pillows and a single blanket. It was late when we reached out to the host so we didn’t hear back until the next morning which was understandable, so some of the guests had to go without proper bedding for a night.Additionally, about a week before our stay, I had an uncomfortable interaction with the host. Since we were staying Coachella weekend we needed to provide a list of names of the overnight guests. Later, I asked a clarifying question about day passes for our friends who’d be visiting, the host mistakenly accused that I (the person who booked) was not listed as an overnight guest and how they were uncomfortable communicating with me, even though my name was clearly on the list of guests I sent. After the host and I spoke on the phone and cleared things up, the host apologized, but the whole interaction left a negative impression.
