## Emplacement
A must-see destination, La Rochelle does not lack assets to charm its visitors. A port city par excellence with its four harbors, the White City bewitches all those who look at the white stone bathed in sunlight in which the buildings are built. The ocean, omnipresent, imposes itself as the symbol of the city, sweeping the nostrils of visitors with its spray. The old stones also have their say in this landscape bordered by the Atlantic Ocean where low coasts, sheer cliffs and sandy coasts alternate.
