Pleasing hotel, fair price for resort/location.

Pros: Set a few hundred yards back from noisy port front, and thus quiet. Pleasant ambience. Efficient and friendly staff. Very comfortable queen-size bed.
Cons: n/a
Location: Quite picturesque. Boat trips. Fine beach 1km walk away.Restaurants on Vieux Port front to be avoided. Try those in adjacent side streets.
My partner and I stayed for one night. We'd certainly use this hotel again.

Location: as above
Good hotel in central LaRochelle within easy reach of all attractions. Tax charge is additional to room charge and breakfast rather expensive at 22 euros. The room was spotless, bathroom very good. Mattress OK. Hotle staff were helpful. Overall, very good and would recommend this hotel.

Oasis of calm in the centre of La Rochelle

Pros: Charming character building and very close to the centre of town with bars and restaurants immediately nearby.
Cons: When booking, need to be aware of the need to pre-book a parking space.
Location: Centre of town, everything is walking distance with plenty of bars and restuarants etc.
We stayed 3 nights to visit La Rochelle and Isle de Re and we visited in August when La Rochele was heaving with tourists. This is an excellent and charming hotel right in the centre of town - but you'd never know it. Tucked in a quieter back street, if you are driving SatNav will take you round the houses to get to it, but there is a drop off space outside the front and you'll need to have pre-booked the parking which is limited (there isn't quite one space per room). The room was fine; we were lucky enough to get one of two rooms with a balcony on the back of the hotel but would have appreciated a fridge.

One stop on our west coast road trip

This was a one-night stay for us as part of a drive down the west coast of France. There were three of us and my daughter was thrilled to find that she had her own private space in the room we booked for us all to share. The room was lovely and the location of the hotel was also great. The main area of disappointment came, however, on our arrival when we were told there was no-where to park. We'd selected this hotel based on there being parking available but this wasn't the case (and even if there were a space, we would've had to pay extra to use it!). We had to park a twenty minute walk away. Aside from that the service lacked any sense of friendliness, so we were quite pleased our stay was a short one.

Excellent emplacement et calme. A conseiller aux amis ou à la famille. Le seul inconvénient c’est le prix du petit déjeuner qui avoisine les 15€, lorsque vous êtes à 3, ça revient à 45€ !!!! Mais aux alentours, il y a des boulangeries qui proposent café et viennoiseries pour moins de 10€ pour 3 (3 café allongés et 4 viennoiseries)

Hôtel acceuillant et calme (centre historique)

Pros: Accueil, confort de la literie, tranquillité
Cons: Sanitaires moyens
Location: Tout simplement une ville à voir, avec un centre historique remarquable, à proximité de l'île de ré. Eviter (si possible) les périodes de vacances...
Hôtel confortable bien situé dans le centre historique de La Rochelle, un peu en retrait des cafés et bars autour du port ce qui est appréciable lorsque l'on rocher le calme pour dormir... Le parking par contre est payant et vite saturé mais de multiples parkings publics sont disponibles à proximité.

Excellent

J'ai découvert ce bijou lors de ma visite à la Rochelle.. Mes grandes surprises étaient l'etat et la propreté de l'hotel, javoue en faisant cette reservation je m'attendais pas a cela, la salle de bain est tres bien equipée et ma seconde surprise est l'emplacement : en empruntant eux petites ruelles en pavé (dont une est le pasage des canards) on arrive directement au vieux port et à la station de vélo libre service "yelo". le personnel est tres aimable le petit dej est bien riche pour 11 euros.
