Excellent stay in La Rochelle

Excellent location, close to the port, restaurants and coffee shops. Great and quiet apartment. It is larger than it looks in pics. Welcoming and responsive host.

Location excellent, no need for a car. Easy access to Restaurants , shops etc.

Little outside space, and a requirement not to make noise so as not to disturb other permanent residents who overlooked the small enclosed outside space,. Otherwise well equipped kitchen.

Feedback on our stay

Renting the property and ongoing communication leading upto and during our stay was excellent. The property and it's location was perfect! The only negative comment I'd make is that we struggled to get the tv working, and when we did there were no english language options. Something such as Netflix or Amazon Prime would have been appreciated. Would happily book again in future!

Relaxing break

The communication with Jacqueline was extremely good. Although we did have a spot of trouble finding the apartment when we arrived which made us a bit later than expected. Myself and my husband had a very peaceful and relaxing much needed break. There is everything in the property that u would need if self catering although we mostly dined out.

Fantastic apartment in beautiful La Rochelle

This wonderful apartment is extremely close to the Old Port and the lovely downtown area which is full of restaurants and shops. It was so convenient to everything we needed including groceries. It faces its own inner courtyard and private garden so was very quiet too. It was perfect for us and Jacqueline was an amazing hostess! We would love to stay here again if we're ever in France.

A wonderful week in La Rochelle

Just returned from a wonderful week in La Rochelle. Jacqueline is a fantastic host, lots of communication and she was there to meet us when we arrived. The apartment was immaculately clean and very well appointed, there was nothing lacking. The location was superb, a short walk to the Old Port where we ate every evening. Not far from the property is a Monoprix supermarket which stocks everything you need. Jacqueline was so kind to us and we will definitely return! Merci beaucoup Jacqueline, votre propriété est superbe!

Beautiful La Rochelle

My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous stay in la Rochelle. Jacqueline was very welcoming and her apartment is in an excellent location. It is modern, quiet, clean and spacious. The Old Port, the beaches and the original buildings are wonderful, as is the choice of restaurants.

Lovely appartment and location

I can confidently recommend this holiday accommodation and location. A great place for families as it is so central with many lovely restaurants and attractions. We spent a week here and only used our car once to cross over to Île de Re. Jacqueline, the owner, is welcoming and very helpful. She communicates very quickly if there are any questions.

Very comfortable apartment, well equipped, very easy access from airport, to buses to ile de Re and to all La Rochelle attractions. Many restaurants and supermarket within a few minutes walk. Very helpful owner.

Location very good place very quiet

disappointed that parking is such a problem and we paid 9.5 Euros per day to park on a quiet road half a mile away for all of our stay. The free car parks were full (Nose) to tail) every day.

The place to be in La Rochelle

Logement tout à fait conforme à la description et merveilleusement bien situé au cœur de cette jolie commune. Le seul problème est la politique de stationnement en surface adoptée par la ville. Heureusement les tarifs en parking souterrain sont raisonnables et l’application Flowbird simplifie considérablement la gestion du stationnement en surface.

Plein centre de La Rochelle, à deux pas des quais du vieux port!

Réservation de dernière minute suite à un besoin urgent de repos… et ce fût le billet gagnant!Appartement fonctionnel, propre, moderne et joliment décoré. Accueil chaleureux et ponctuel ! Situé plein centre de la vieille ville, très proches du parc ( très pratique pour sortir son chien!).Tout est réalisable à pied, que ce soit pour faire les courses( marché couvert fortement recommandé et notamment le le poisson fumé de « les arts de la mer » 06.36.31.36.70) ou pour se faire plaisir sans modération dans un très bon restaurant : Christopher Coutanceaux, « impressions », «  les 4 sergents »…Bref, location et ville fortement recommandées!Mathias Rabeyrin.

Le logement est très très bien situé. Nous n'avons pas utilisé la voiture de la semaine (garée à proximité sur un emplacement gratuit, après une longue recherche). Nous avons ensuite utilisé tout les moyens de transport à disposition (bus pour l'île de Ré, vélo pour les balades, bateau pour l'île d'Aix, et en piétons pour le vieux port de La Rochelle, l'aquarium, la plage, etc...). L'appartement est vraiment à proximité de tout ! Il est également bien agencé, au calme et en sécurité. Jacqueline nous a accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesse et nous a très bien renseignés sur les activités. Nous garderons de très beaux souvenirs de cette semaine de vacances à La Rochelle. Merci

Un séjour parfait

Nous avons été très bien reçus. L’appartement est encore mieux que sur les photos. Emplacement incroyable très proche du vieux port, des commerces et plages dans un quartier vivant mais dans une cour intérieure donc très calme. Séjour parfait à La Rochelle

Nous avons passé un séjour parfait à La Rochelle dans l'appartement de Jacqueline. Elle nous a accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesse, de disponibilité, faisant preuve de flexibilité pour les horaires de départ et d'arrivée. L'appartement est situé à 2 minutes à pied du vieux de l'horloge du vieux port, ce qui permet de tout faire à La Rochelle à pied ou à vélo. Il est placé au fond d'une cours intérieure, ce qui garanti un calme absolu par rapport à la route, et à l'agitation de la ville. L'appartement est propre, lumineux, spacieux et encore plus beau que sur les photos. Chaque chambre a sa salle d'eau avec douche, l'une est située au rez-de-chaussée et l'autre à l'étage. Nous y reviendrons sans aucune hésitation.

mitten in der Altstadt, absolut ruhig, immer einen kostenlosen Parkplatz gefunden (überaschenderweise), besser kann man es in La Rochelle nicht haben! Gute Ausstattung, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Leider war eine Toilette nicht rechtzeitig repariert worden. Die Ferienwohnung ist innen hellhörig, aber von den anderen Hausbewohnern war nichts wahrzunehmen. Trotzdem 5 Sterne!
