Lovely riverside location in the Dordogne

We had a fantastic week in this beautiful house, overlooking the River Dordogne at the end of August. It's perfectly located for visits to local chateaux, canoeing on the river and nearby towns. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We can't recommend it highly enough

Wonderful vacation week

Wonderful home built into the ledges overlooking the Dordogne with direct access to the river a plus. The owners were very responsive, helpful and pleasant. Complete kitchen which we used a number of times when not visiting the excellent local restaurants nearby. Lots of nearby hiking and swimming opportunities too. We didn’t want to leave!

La maison dépasse de loin toutes nos attentes. La maison est la même que celle montrée sur les photos. Pas de surprise. Maison confortable, spacieuse, élégante, entièrement équipée, il y a de tout. Il est situé à côté de la rivière avec des vues impressionnantes et à proximité des plus belles villes de la Dordogne. -------- La casa supera con creces todas nuestras expectativas. La casa es igual que la que se muestra en las fotografías. ninguna sorpresa. Casa acogedora, amplia, elegante, totalmente equipada, hay de todo. Está situada al lado del río con unas vistas impresionantes y cerca de las más bellas poblaciones de la Dordogne.

A traditional gite in a fabulous location

A lovely, traditional French gite in an outstanding location just below the beautiful town of Domme on the banks of the Dordogne. With private access to the river beach, it was fabulous to take a dip in the river in the evenings. The gite is extremely well appointed with excellent outdoor furniture. The table in the front garden offered welcome shade for breakfast and the table in the back terrace was perfect for the evenings. The gas bbq grill was fabulous. A canoe trip down the Dordogne and the Vezere are both highly recommended. Thank you for a lovely week.

Une maison authentique, chaleureuse, idéalement placée

Une maison traditionnelle et confortable d'où se dégage une belle énergie. Un excellent point de départ pour les visites touristiques en Dordogne, entre autres : village en pied de falaise et bord de rivière de La Roque Gageac (à 5'), ballades en canoë (à 5'), châteaux de Castelnaud, Beynac et Milandes (à moins de 15'), Sarlat (à 15'), Lascaux (à moins de 30'), atelier de minéraux qui vaut le détour (à 10'), les montgolfières qui passent tout près de la maison. Le salon, la pièce de vie et la terrasse donnant sur la Dordogne sont très appréciables en famille et avec des amis. Parfait pour 4 adultes et 3 ados. La literie est excellente et les nuits très calmes. L'accueil est très chaleureux.

Au coeur de la nature

Très bien située géographiquement, la maison dispose également d'une vue splendide sur la Dordogne et la nature. Elle est très bien équipée et les différentes terrasses sont très appréciables. L'accueil et la communication avec les gérants est très agréable. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Excellent séjour au Gaillardou

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Gaillardou Et sous le soleil. Le gîte est Tres Bien situé en bord de Dordogne ( accès direct) Et dans une region Tres touristique. L'accueil de nos hôtes était très chaleureux. Le gîte offre tout le confort nécessaire. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié sa terrasse arriere avec vue sur la Dordogne Et la plancha. À recommander sans hésitation.

Idéalement située, cette inspirante bâtisse donne accès à toutes les activités que vous pourriez souhaiter Les hôtes sont adorables, disponibles et à l'écoute. Depuis la grande terrasse (il y en a 2, une devant, 1 derrière, ce qui est bien pratique pour fuir ou prendre le soleil) il y a une très belle vue sur la Dordogne, tout pour un séjour heureux ! Malgré des températures élevées, l'intérieur du gîte, ultra confortable et spacieux, reste frais. Que du positif pour ce gîte et ses propriétaires!!! Il faut aussi noter tous les équipements à disposition, notamment au niveau de la vaisselle. Du grand luxe, pour un gîte. Alors, gîte ou château ? 😉
