Super stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable. the grounds are stunning and the location was peaceful, with easy access to the cascades and nearby amenities. Sue was an extremely helpful host and made us feel welcome and relaxed. The highlight for us was the pool. It is a really good size, clean and perhaps thanks to recent hot weather, really warm. We all loved lazy days by the pool.

Beautiful house, pool and location

We had a fantastic stay here. The house was spacious and comfortable, the host was extremely helpful and kind. The pool was wonderful and the surroundings were perfect. The single track road to the property could be busy with tourists heading to the cascades at times.

Traumhaft gelegenes Haus an der Cèze

Wir waren mit zwei Kindern (3+6 Jahre) im Juli zu Gast und hatten drei wunderschöne Wochen in diesem traumhaft gelegen Haus. Vom Haus aus kommt man über einen kleinen Weg sehr schnell an die Cèze, welche wunderschöne Badestellen auch für kleine Kinder bietet. Auf dem Grundstück befindet sich eine große Fläche mit Olivenbäumen auf welcher die Kinder wunderbar spielen konnten. Ein paar Meter oberhalb befindet sich der sehr große, eingezäunte Poolbereich. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Komfortables Urlaubs-Zuhause in einem wunderschönen Garten, inmitten der Natur

Wir haben uns als Familie ( 2 Kinder, 12 und 15 Jahre) sehr wohlgefühlt in diesem gemütlichen, gut ausgestatteten und liebevoll eingerichteten Haus. Morgens auf der Terrasse zu frühstücken mit Blick auf den großen Garten voller Olivenbäume war für uns Erwachsene ein schöner Start in den Urlaubstag, während die Highlights unserer Söhne der Pool und die beiden Tiere der Besitzerin waren: ein sehr zutraulicher Kater und ein süßer Hundewelpe. Beide kamen gerne bei uns vorbei, um sich ein paar Streicheleinheiten abzuholen. Das Grundstück erstreckt sich über zwei Ebenen, die über eine Steintreppe verbunden sind: das Haus befindet sich unten, während die sympathische Vermieterin oberhalb wohnt, wo sich auch der Poolbereich befindet. Zum Flussufer gegenüber geht es eine Böschung hinab, doch das ist nur von Bedeutung, wenn man nicht gut zu Fuß ist. Wegen eines Pollers kommt man mit dem Auto nicht von La Roque s. C. aus ans Haus, sondern nur von der anderen Seite her, der geteerte Feldweg geht gegenüber von M. d‘Euzet von der Landstraße ab. Das Haus war für uns ein prima Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung: Kaskaden von Sautadet (10 min. Spaziergang) eine Kanufahrt auf der Cèze (buchbar in Goudargues am Ortseingang, dort ist auch der Markt am Mittwoch Vormittag sehr nett), die Besichtigung des römischen Theaters in Orange und der Höhle von Orgnac mit Museum, der Markt in Uzès am Samstag und Pont du Gard. Diese Ausflugsziele liegen alle maximal 45 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit Pool

Wir (4 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) hatten hier eine wunderschöne Woche im Juni verbracht. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, fast direkt am Ufer der Ceze, die Zufahrtsstraße ist nur für Anlieger und somit kaum befahren. Die sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin Sue wohnt im oberen Bereich des Grundstückes. Auf dem Weg zum oberhalb des Hauses gelegenen Pool begegnet man ihr hin und wieder. Das hat uns aber nie gestört. Das Haus und der große Garten sind perfekt gepflegt. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir waren viel mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs. Die Umgebung war ideal zum Rennradfahren... Können Sue's Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Très bonnes vacances

Excellent séjour passé dans cette très jolie habitation au bord de la rivière. L'environnement extérieur est parfait, très dépaysant, au calme et très facile d'accès vers la vallée de la cèze ou vers le centre du Gard. On s' y sent vite très à l'aise. à refaire !

Schönes Haus in schöner Gegend

Wunderbar

Wir haben als Familie 8 wundervolle Tage in Susanne´s Haus verbracht! Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und steht auf einem riesigen Grundstück. Die meiste Zeit verbrachten wir nicht im Haus sondern am riesigen Pool, welcher über eine Steintreppe zu erreichen ist und sich im oberen Bereich des Grundstücks wunderschöne angelegt befindet! Ruhe ist garantiert. Die Cèze fließt direkt am Grundstück vorbei und verfügt hier über schöne Kiesbänke auf denen man ebenfalls den Tag verbringen kann! Die Straße (Einbahnstraße :-) ) zum Grundstück ist lediglich für Anlieger nutzbar! Absolut kein Verkehr! in ca. 1km Entfernung befinden sich die Cèze-Kaskaden und das kleine Örtchen La Roque sur cèze. 2 Restaurants sind dort ebenfalls zu finden! (ca.2km zu Fuss über das für Verkehr gesperrte Wegchen) Die Umgebung ist traumhaft! Die Ardeche, Cèze, Tropfsteinhöhlen, wunderschöne Städtchen etc. sind alle schnell zu erreichen. Wandern, Flussbettwandern, Paddeln, Rennradfahren, Essen, Weinproben... alles in nächster Umgebung! Sue war sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Sie wohnt im oberen Bereich des Grundstücks und ist daher schnell bei Fragen kontaktiert! Vielen Dank dass wir hier unseren Urlaub verbringen durften! Können das Haus und die Umgebung absolut empfehlen!

Entspannter Urlaub in wunderschöner Umgebung. Der Kontakt zur Gastgeberin war stets angenehm und bereichernd durch Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung. Im riesigen Garten mit großem Pool waren zahlreiche Aktivitäten z.B. Volleyball möglich.

Excellentes vacances, maison très agréable à vivre avec un très bel environnement, piscine au top qui se prête bien aux jeux d’eaux en famille, à la nage et sécurisée. Propriétaire discrète et très sympa, merci Sue ! L’accès à la rivière est facile, et très peu de monde à cet endroit de la Ceze. La situation de la maison permet de rayonner dans le Gard, le Vaucluse et l’Ardeche.

un petit coin de paradis!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans la maison de Sue. Tout a été parfait du début à la fin. La maison est très bien équipée et aménagée avec soin et Sue est très accueillante et nous a mis à l'aise tout de suite. Sue habite juste à côté, mais elle est très discrète. Il faut passer devant chez elle pour se rendre à la piscine. La piscine est la meilleure que nous avons eu l'occasion de louer... immense, et avec des bords pneumatiques, ce qui fait que les enfants ont pu jouer comme des fous sans jamais se faire mal, ce qui n'aurait pas manqué avec une piscine en dur. Sue a su rendre les abords de la piscine superbes, bordées d'oliviers et de lauriers roses et blancs... La rivière est à deux pas, avec une plage de galets (pensez à emmener des chaussures de baignade si vous voulez bien profiter de l'eau!). Tous les commerces sont à dix minutes en voiture. Vraiment, pour une semaine de repos, c'est l'endroit idéal!

Oase der Ruhe an der Ceze

Wir haben Anfang Oktober 5 erholsame Tage in Sue´s wunderbarem Ferienhaus verbracht. Die Unterkunft ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos abgebildet, großer Garten, großer Pool, schöne Sitzplätze, gute Ausstattung der Küche. Alles war sehr sauber und hat top funktioniert. Die Lage ist außerhalb des Ortes, dadurch sehr ruhig und erholsam, die Ceze direkt vor der Haustür, Kaskaden von Sautadet in ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, ein echtes Highlight. Sue ist eine super Gastgeberin, immer ansprechbar, hat uns viele Tipps gegeben. Absolut sehenswert: das kleine Dorf La Roque sur Ceze, die Höhlen von Orgnac, Pont du Gard. Wir sind auch 2 h nach Cassis gefahren und zu den Calanques d´en Vau gewandert. Das Mittelmeer Anfang Oktober eher zu kalt zum Baden, aber die Calanques waren weniger überlaufen als zu anderen Jahreszeiten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Encore plus beau en vrai !!!

Nous avons passé un séjour de rêve dans un cadre de rêve... La maison est juste magnifique, décorée avec beaucoup de soin. Un extérieur totalement dépaysant et très bien entretenu. La piscine, géniale, bien conçue très sécurisante pour les enfants comme pour les grands. La proximité avec la rivière était aussi très appréciable. Et que dire de Sue et Fred, ils sont à l'image de leur maison, charmants et très accueillants. Ils nous ont bien reçus, très avenants et pleins de bons conseils pour optimiser notre séjour. Ils ont été très discrets durant notre séjour. Nous recommandons ce lieu de vacances sans aucune hésitation... Et nous y reviendrons avec plaisir. Nous remercions encore Sue et Fred pour tout !!!
