Beautiful restored nineteenth century house that still retains all its character typical Andalusian house. Located in the heart of the village of Zubia 3 km from Granada.
It is a house of 400m square, full of charm, where every detail has retained its original period carefully.
Also this perfectly designed for the needs of today.
It has a nice interior patio with barbecue, which always keeps a very pleasant temperature. Where guests can have a good time while enjoying the typical products of the area.
It has three spacious bedrooms, two double bed and one double.
In addition, guests can relax on the spacious terrace that features sun and solar hot shower.
It has a beautiful typical Andalusian cuisine, which also retains the fireplace, ideal to enjoy the warmth of the fire. perfectly conditioned. It has a dishwasher, microwave, oven and all necessary utensils.

This was a fantastic place to stay all around. First of all, it's only a five-minute walk to town, if that. La Zubia has several little markets right near by and lots of cafes and bakeries. Easy access to Granada. The house is spacious, beautiful, and authentic, with little touches that the photographs don't capture--like etched glass panes in the dining room entry, a lovely tea set in the pantry, interesting sculptures in the living room. Every room had a lovely chandelier, and the tile floor in the main bedroom is stunning. There's also a rooftop patio with stunning views of the snow-capped mountains in the distance The home was spotless on arrival, and our dog was welcomed. Rodrigo and Manuela were lovely and helpful, The only downside was the tight parking and the nasty neighbor who got upset when the wheels of our car touched the line separating our car from his. Other than that, a beautiful stay, highly recommended.

Our stay in this lovely 18th centuary Spanish house was perfect. The house itself is beautifully furnished and decorated, perfectly situated for shops, buses and best of all, Granada. The host we met, Rodrigo, was charming and helpful, although only Spanish spoken. There are a couple of drawback to the house, firstly the stairs and steps around the house, no cushions for the solarium sunbeds and chairs and finally, the pool, which in our opinion, is not needed, especially where it is situated. That all said, we had a wonderful two weeks there and would highly reccomend.

Great base for visit to Granada

A very spacious 3 bedroom house with lovely enclosed courtyard and sun terrace. Very well equipped. Lounge was very comfortable. There is parking in a nearby garage (make sure you are shown where it is and how to access). Very convenient and easy drive to Alhambra. We parked there on a couple of occasions and walked down to the city. Only a 7 euro taxi ride from city to parking (note: we were quoted 15 euros for the ride by FreeNow....they didn't turn up so we flagged a taxi down and it was half the price). Be aware there are stairs if you have mobility issues.

Una experiencia fantástica

No suelo hacer nunca reseñas, pero quedé tan impresionada con la casa y la atención recibida, que está vez no he dudado. La casa era tal como se muestra en las fotos o mejor. Éramos una familia grande y las cuatro habitaciones eran muy amplias y cómodas, y la casa fresca y grande. Tenía un gran encanto típico del sur de España pero con todas las comodidades posibles e impecablemente limpia. Decorada con mucho gusto. El emplazamiento bueno, fuera de Granada, y con aparcamiento incluido y supermercados y bares muy cerca. A menos de 15 minutos de la Alhambra. La cocina estaba complemente equipada con todo lo que uno pudiera necesitar, a falta de una, había 4 cafeteras. Los dueños respondieron enseguida a todas nuestras preguntas y fueron muy amables. Relación calidad/precio/espacio/atención personalizada, la vivienda es inmejorable. Enhorabuena a los dueños.

Fantastic Spanish Home For Large Group

What a charming home with plenty of space for seven people. The bathroom is very large and has a massaging shower. This home is adorably decorated with a very European feel. We spent time just wondering from room to room to look at all the tile, lamps, pictures and little touches that gave it so much personality. There's a wonderful pellet stove in the living area where we sat around in the evening, drank wine and visited. It was also really nice to have parking on the street for our nine (yes, fools that we are) person van. All our other accommodations required parking in a garage then walking 15 minutes with our luggage. We couldn't take advantage of the amazing outdoor spaces because it was rainy and cold but we would have lived in them if we'd come in a different season. The courtyard off the kitchen is charming. We drove into Granada since we had so many people and parked at the Alhambra then walked around town. We also did a fantastic hike,Los Cohorros, in the National Park. It was a 10 min drive to the start. You wind along a small creek which was overflowing due to all the recent rain. The first part is quite magical as you duck and tuck between tight the trees. Eventually this turns to a small, cement wall that requires some scampering (even on your knees) around the rock walls. FANTASTIC trail for those who love a bit of challenge and varying terrain. This is not a hike for those who like a flat, wide trail. Wear shoes with grip and be prepared to get dirty and do some climbing. This home is great option for those who want to explore the Park. We had a fantastic dinner at a restaurant that was recommended by the home owner. I can't remember the name but I believe it is one of the nicest in town. It is a bit pricey (by Spanish standards, not American) but the food was worth it. We also took advantage of the grocery only a few blocks away to make breakfast both mornings. Make sure you try the fresh orange juice. We highly recommend this home and area!!!

Great Experience!

The home was absolutely beautiful, and Manuela could not have done more to make our stay comfortable. This must have been one of the quietest streets in Spain, making it easy to sleep, and also to feel safe. One of our regrets was that the weather was cold, so we were not able to enjoy the gorgeous patio space. Maybe another time. One of our goals was to be close to La Alhambra, and we were only about 15 minutes away. Thank you so much Manuela and Rodrigo. Muchas Gracias!

Excellent - beautiful home to stay in

I would highly recommend this lovely house to anyone who is looking to visit Granada. Zubia is a 15/20 minute bus ride from the centre of Granada - buses are frequent even on a Sunday. There is a lovely park nearby and with local shops and restaurants. The house has plenty of room - everything was immaculate and to the highest standard. The owner and her family were really kind and helpful. If I ever visit Granada again I will certainly book up to stay here again

Best place we've ever rented

This house is amazing. We only had 3 nights here, but could have happily moved in forever. Huge - lots of space inside and also an outside patio and a rooftop patio with a view of the Sierra Nevadas. Immaculately clean, comfortable beds, great shower, lots of heat when needed and quiet. . A 15 minute bus ride into Granada. The owner was very easy to work with. We have rented at least 50 properties over the years, and this is easily the best.. Gracias Manuela y Paco!

This is an extremely well presented property obviously well loved by the owners, we loved it! Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Granada and the surrounding area. Whilst not really suitable for people with mobility problems as there are stairs it has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Owners very welcoming and attentive, thank you for a lovely holiday, we will definitely come back.

Beautifully appointed home on outskirts of Granada.

Manuela's house is charming, with tasteful decor and all the comforts of home. It is located just outside central Granada and on a very frequent and efficient bus route into the city. Manuela and her daughter ( who speaks excellent English if your Spanish is non existent like ours) are delightful hosts. We can highly recommend this property if you are looking for an immaculate,, delightful home in a quiet location.

Beautiful , very well maintained house in a great location for the Sierra Nevada or Granada

We had a lovely weekend here. The house is lovely, lots of space, and kept warm and very clean. It has many period features and has been maintained to a high standard. There are 3 spacious bedrooms, 3 public rooms and an outside roof terrace and beautiful patio downstairs as well. We were there in winter but I would love to return in summer to enjoy the outdoor space more. We found easy parking on the street each day and there are shops, restaurants and parks nearby. Wifi was good and the fire in the cosy lounge upstairs was blissful after a day in the snow! The house is near Granada and about 40 minutes from the main Sierra Nevada resort. We used it as a base to go see some snow up the mountains. The owner was very lovely and kindly let us check out late on Sunday to squeeze in more snow time! I would highly recommend this property. We all loved it and my daughter didnt want to leave!

Se trata de una casa super bien ubicada, con tiendas, bares y comercios a escasos metros. La casa cuenta con todo lo necesario y es tal cual se la describe. Bonita y cómoda estancia

Nuestra estancia en la casa ha sido muy agradable, la casa es tal y comomse ve en las fotos, no le falta de nada , es muy grande y cómoda , está muy bien situada ,cerca de todo y calle muy tranquila.
