Welcome to Flitterbug Farm, a peaceful three-bedroom home on nine acres beside a small pond. Once a commercial insect farm, it’s now a lush green sanctuary with chickens, fruit trees, and abundant wildlife.

The property includes a camping area with a heated outdoor shower and a fire pit (which you’re welcome to use!), so you may see other guests nearby.

With a large fenced-in backyard and plenty of green space, you can unwind, watch our gorgeous South Florida sunsets, and admire the stars.

A warm and inviting home in a unique country setting. We came down from north FL for the Immokalee Cattle Drive and had a fabulous time exploring this rural and agricultural area of the state.The home, although unassuming on the exterior, was perfect for our group. It was super clean, fully stocked and nicely decorated. The host communicated well and we enjoyed our time spent there. We hope to return for another stay in the future.

This was truly one of the best stays ever! Property is a perfect quiet rural retreat away from straffic, crowds, noise other tha an ocasional chicken!Our host provided everything! Truly a "bring your toothbrush" kind of place. Other than food staples, coffee, teas, condiments, soaps, linens, books, games, big screen projector TV all provided! I could live here.
