New Wooden Chalet in the Woods With Roof Terrace, at Colmar and on the Wine Route!

This completely new wooden chalet is located right in the heart of Alsace on the 'route des vins', the famous wine route. The chalet enjoys a unique location in the more expensive district of Labaroche, just a 10-minute drive from Colmar. You drive up the mountain to Evaux through a beautiful landscape of rolling vineyards and forests via the 18 hole golf course (1 km). The chalet was completed in mid-2018 and it will not leave you wanting. No prefab wooden chalet, but a high quality house, fantastically equipped, using sustainable materials. Just imagine a solid oak floor, German mattresses and a kitchen and bathroom filled with only brand name equipment. Well insulated with various heaters around the place as well as air conditioning. The chalet with its 2 bedrooms, large beds and spacious bathroom and living room is ideal for 4 people. The chalet also has a lovely roof terrace with a view over the forest! When you open the doors to the terrace the next morning, do not be surprised if a deer comes to say hello to you. The chalet is located in the middle of the woods. However, there is an almost indentical chalet right next to you, which you can also rent if you're travelling with several people (max. 8), you can completely enjoy your privacy, peace and the view. A breathtaking place!The chalet and its location are a perfect choice the whole year round. The colours and smells of the trees and the vineyards change, there are always activities in the (immediate) environment, but also if you want to do absolutely nothing and only want to enjoy nature then you are in the right place. Be sure to visit the surrounding villages, such as Kaysersberg (one of the most beautiful villages in France), Riquewihr, Turckheim and of course the little Venice Colmar, all close by. You are not only on the wine route, but also in an excellent location for a visit to the most famous Christmas markets in France. Fairytale-like, these authentic villages are decorated and lit one by one, starting in mid-November. You can also find yourself in the heard of the Vosges within 30 minutes. Taste the delicious cheese from Munster with one of the local farmers or go for a day of winter sports, starting from La Bresse Hohneck (36 km). A day at Mulhouse (60 km) is also worth a visit for the museum lover (railway, car and, for example, wall decoration museum). In short, there is plenty to do, a unique home and a fantastic place in the middle of nature at a very short distance from all the sights.
