The beach of Laboe is about 2 km long, 50 m wide, white, soft fine sand and the riparian zones are extremely flat here. Only after about 30m the water becomes deeper than one meter and in some places you can wade almost 100m into the fjord towards the fairway.
There are several children's playgrounds on the beach. Not only the non-smoking beach directly in front of the sea water indoor pool, but also an action beach with a beach volleyball court, trampoline and electric scooters.
The promenade is lined with many restaurants, small shops and cafes. Fresh fish from the cutter is offered daily at the harbor and there are delicious, fresh fish rolls in the fish kitchen. The fine sandy bathing beach and the wide sandbanks in front of the beach are a very special event for children. You can swim in the shallow water and build castles with the white sand to your heart's content. And if it is a little colder, the seawater indoor pool provides a successful alternative.
A special highlight is the picturesque yacht and fishing port. Here you can buy freshly caught fish directly from the fishing boats or take the steam boat to the state capital of Kiel. With its wide range of games, sports and fun, Laboe offers unforgettable holidays for the whole family. From Labberg it is about 15 kilometers to Laboe along the B502 towards Kiel. From a distance you can see the naval memorial, which you should definitely visit.
