Les Gîtes du Villajou - Gîte Morio

This all-stone cottage, which was an outbuilding of the farm, was the first to be restored on the site.
The work lasted about 9 months and it was intense because it symbolized the first steps in the renovation and at the time I didn't have much knowledge in this area.
I tried to preserve as much of the authenticity and features of this building as possible, such as:
the stone-paved floor, the large fireplace (called a "cantou") with a wood-burning stove, the stone sink, exposed beams, part of the old wattle and daub partition etc … Then modern and antique furniture was mixed to create a modern/antique feel that pleasantly highlights the rustic character of the place.
To satisfy your curiosity, you have at your disposal in the cottage a photo book retracing the renovation work as well as a welcome booklet.
 
⚠️ Accessibility (PRM): The cottage is notNot accessible to people with reduced mobility. The interior includes steps (bedroom and bathroom).
🔌 Electric Vehicle: Charging is strictly prohibited on site (incompatible sockets / safety risk) . Please use the public charging stations available nearby (use an app like Chargefinder or Chargemap).

This farm stay offers its guests laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
