This property was absolutely the worse you can imagine! It appears the property was recently purchased and was in total rehab. I requested ground floor due to hip issues. When we arrived at the property very late at night and there was no one in the office when we arrived and I had to call the guy everymorning to come to the front office. He said getting up before 9:00 pm was too early for him. There was no breakfast, trash laying everywhere along with old furniture. Stairs were on the brink of breaking also. The room we ended up in was on the 3rd floor!!! He said there were no more rooms left. We were the only car on the parking lot!!! We finally convined Jack (front desk person) to move us to a larger room on the main floor with a walk up to the door with our luggage. We had to pay additional 25 night per room. We ended up staying at this property for 4 nights. We were also in this area due to a family death. We also had to ask for additional toilet paper, bath towels and facecloths every morning! I think someone needs to address the owner of this hotel and tell him to get busy with completing the renovations before they invite other guests to stay there. There were no soap dishes in the shower, no closet to hang clothes, desk and chair would have been nice also. I hope all this makes sense to you.

Never again. New ownership, enough said!

Stayed 2 yrs ago: was fine, clean but small room. We decided to come back, but made sure to choose larger room (w/ fireplace). When arrived, given same tiny room as last time. Went down to desk, explained we chose larger room w/ fireplace, was told no fireplace existed (so description is wrong on hotels.com). Should've left, but we were offered king room for same cost. Room was very dirty (I wiped down every surface w/ disinfectant wipes), 1/4 roll of tp in bathroom w/ no back up, dirty towels prompted us to buy new ones at Walmart. Bedsheet stained, they did change for us. But overall skeevy experience. Mildewed shower curtain was the worst. Breakfast was offered too late but looked like we didn't miss much. Coffee area had a dirty counter, nasty garbage container that was never emptied, dirty communal microwave, some Keurigs w/ pods, a plastic cup 1/2 filled w/ sugar, ew...Outside walkway unlit in am. Seemed to have a guy living in one of rooms full time, but really no other guests. I understand it's a summer location, but even last time we were here there were a few other people staying. I guess everyone knows better. On the plus, the bed (from previous owner's no doubt), was still comfortable, and we didn't get bugs so that's a relief, and the water was hot and plentiful even though it filled the tub. If you must stay here, make sure to bring your own towels, cleaning equipment, maybe bedsheets and a shower curtain. Doesn't warrant the cost savings here. Look elsewhere.

check out the pink mildew on the bottom of this shower curtain, so gross
did not feel clean to even take a shower, but at least water was hot
the bed was comfortable, but lacks a bed skirt, protective cover, or real comforter. Check that your sheets are not stained. if possible bring your own.

I was really excited about staying at this property. They promised a Lakeview and free breakfast. The Lakeview was looking at a large dumpster. And on our first day there they said breakfast would come out at 8 AM and it wasn’t ready so my family started their day hungry. I often choose places with breakfast There was also construction debris around the property. The rooms were beautiful and clean was very soft beds, which is why I gave it a three star rating. They also didn’t give us enough towels, soap or toilet paper. When I asked for them, it took me going down there two times to get them

Ice was not properly removed. Wife and others fell on black ice. Stair wells to second floor were not cleared. Checking in after hours was inconvenient for hotel's management. They call wife and asked when are you getting here, then abruptly hung up..😳. Overall will not stay again, unless thy offer a partial credit. And do better.

clean and convenient place. Lot’s of parking space, nearby a lake with beautiful view. Service desk is very friendly and helpful. No breakfast though, only self made coffee available.. Pictures were deceiving to the size of the room but it was still comfortable. The bathroom was small and the shower was dark but everything was very clean. TV only has cable but it was fun to go old school lol. Small linen but still functional. Inn keepers didn’t bother us unless asked for service.

The guy That runs the place was pleasant when we arrived. We did not have essentials we needed hardly any toilet paper was on the rolls and not any extra in the rooms. Not enough towels in rooms as well. We had 3 other families with us as well in different rooms and the same problems. We called front desk to have more brought to us and They sent to wrong rooms. 1 other family that was with us had no heat working and It kept tripping Everytime turned on. The guy that was working the front desk had rest of family members living in other rooms not sure if they owned it or what the situation was. They had to move Families out of rooms to accommodate the family that was with us to give them a room with heat throughout the very cold night, and The guy that ran it said I will have to move my family out of room and give you that room without even going to clean it.

This inn has very little charm. It is rather run-down, and overall cleanliness is an issue. I’m glad I booked it for only one day, as staying longer would have been a hassle. The picture on Expedia is misleading, showing the inn by the lake when, in fact, it is separated from the lake by the very busy Route 3. The manager was very nice and helpful, providing me with a roll of toilet paper (which was missing from the room) and a clean bedsheet.
