The hotel was a satisfactory place to stay. While we appreciated the continental breakfast, a wider variety of options, similar to what we experienced at the Hampton Inn the previous year, would be a welcome improvement. The daily offerings of scrambled eggs, sausage, packaged grits, oatmeal, and waffles were somewhat limited; more hot food choices would be preferable. Additionally, we had to replace our own trash bags throughout our stay, as the room was not cleaned during our visit, despite varying departure and arrival times.

Great stay but…

We had a great stay. We even brought our pets. One thing I did NOT like was one of the staff members making a rude face to our pets when we went to take them out. Other than that, the room was nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Ok, but could have been better

No internet the whole trip on the 3rd floor, so couldn't work. Tried to reset the router, but no luck. Bathroom sink completely clogged. On the bright side, it was clean and well kept. Pretty good breakfast.

Sadly, my last stay at lafayette's La Qinta

I have tried to be loyal to La Quinta because I enjoy the people at the check-in desk. However, this will probably be my last time staying. For one thing, yogurt is no longer served- or at least was absent from that cabinet for the second half of my stay. I also think that the breakfast Lacks product diversity. Finally, I need to stay at a place with a better pool. That pool is constantly in the shade and ice cold. I love the rooms at this hotel and I particularly enjoy the personnel- except for the person running the kitchen you did not keep it properly stocked. But if I don't know it, I will say that I tried to book through La Quinta because they promised me their rates would be less when in fact my six days they would have been several hundred dollars more expensive than it was with hotels.com
