Casa Ballyhale is a detached, 3 bedroom villa with private pool located in Vale de Milho, Carvoeiro just 300 meters from the golf course and clubhouse and a 15 minute walk from the beach.



The swimming pool can be heated (heating extra) so guests can enjoy it throughout the year. The pool is bordered by a large terrace equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas and adjoined by a covered BBQ area and outdoor shower and ping pong table.



There is a second bbq area on the courtyard that adjoins the dining area. This courtyard has seating as well as table football and stairs from the courtyard lead upstairs to the roof terrace with views of the surrounding area.



The villa is air conditioned throughout and there is parking sufficient for 2 or 3 cars on the driveway. The villa is also equipped with free Wi-Fi, an internet based TV service with a large array of channels available in several different languages and a cot and high chair are available on request.



The nearest beach is just a 15 minute walk away. It's a sheltered bay bordered by striking sandstone cliffs. Boat trips around the caves and grottos leave daily from the beach and it offers various other activities such as pedalo hire, kayak hire, wakeboarding and more. Located at the beach is O Stop restaurant / snack bar which can serve as an elegant restaurant for an evening meal or somewhere to grab a lunctime snack. There are a few other restaurants within easy walking distance of the villa.



Carvoeiro town centre is just a few minutes away by car/taxi. Carvoeiro itself is a charming, family friendly town. During the summer months (June – September), a stage is erected in the square and live music is played every night.



The accommodation comprises of entrance hall, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living/dining area.



The kitchen is equipped with oven, hob, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. The living/dining area is spacious with a working fireplace and ample seating for 6 persons. Of the 3 bedrooms, 1 has a double bed and the remaining 2 bedrooms have twin beds which have the possibility to configure as a king size double beds should guests prefer this. Of the 2 bathrooms, 1 is an en-suite which is attached to the bedroom with the double bed. The en-suite bathroom consists of bath tub, separate walk-in shower, double sink and WC. The second bathroom consists of walk-in shower, double sink and WC.



Inside the villa is an information book with emergency contact numbers and useful information about the house and the local area. Guests are also provided with a 24h contact number so they can contact the property manager in the event of a problem or with regards to any questions pertaining to the house.



There is a taxi rank in the centre of the village and the central taxi number is provided in the house information book. You can also travel around by Uber, tuk tuk and bus. Details of which can be found in the villa.



Tourist tax

Please note that on 13th April 2024 a new law was passed approving a new tourism tax (Taxa Municipal Turística de Lagoa). All guests aged 13 years and over are required to pay this tax. The amount is €2 per person per night during high season (April – October) and €1 per person per night during low season (November – March). There is a cap of 7 nights on the tax. Therefore for all reservations in excess of 7 nights, you still only pay the tax for 7.
