We were greeted by Maria, who was very friendly and helpful. She showed us around her lovely home with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The backyard was well maintained with beautiful flowers. The interior boasted a contemporary design with three levels that was perfect for the seven of us. We enjoyed the large living area where everyone was comfortable. Also, it was very convenient to have plenty of sleeping areas with accompanying bathrooms. The location in Lagoa was a wonderful central point for seeing all of Sao Miguel. Lastly, Maria was always available to offer suggestions as to where to eat, shop, and sightsee. We had an amazing time and are grateful that we stayed as such a nice residence.
