The property was damp and not clean to sleep in with the children’s bed being covered in dust when weight was put onto it. Furniture in the bedroom was green with mold spores. We only stayed a night as we arrived late even though we had booked for four as the smell of damp was cloying and overwhelming and the accommodation frankly unihabitable. We reported it to Vrbo asking for a refund and no help was provided sadly so we lost £500 of accommodation fees and had a disrupted holiday having to find an alternative place to stay. A real shame as the pool photo looked great and we thought it would a restful stay however this turned out not to be the case . The photos and listing are misleading.

Entspannter Ort zwischen Olivenbäumen

Wir waren mit unseren beiden Kindern (2 und 7 Jahre alt) für knapp zwei Wochen da. Besonders toll fanden die Kinder den Pool direkt vor der Haustür (Abgesichert für kleine Kinder!). Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen, man erreicht aber alles entspannt mit dem Auto (Dörfer, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Fluss). Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und die Kommunikation sehr angenehm.

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Logement très frais et agréable à cette saison, grande piscine (il y a de la place pour tout le monde!), domaine très intéressant à découvrir grâce aux propriétaires. Nous avons été très bien accueilli. Petit bémol: l’annonce Abritel qui facture le jacuzzi pour tous les jours. Mais heureusement les propriétaires sont honnêtes. On recommande!

Contrat non respecté et mépris du client

Le gite, le cadre et la situation sont formidables. Alors pourquoi pas 5 étoiles ? Parce que l'accueil que nous avons reçu nous laisse un goût très amer. Nous avions réservé 6 nuits dans le gîte, et à l'arrivée les propriétaires nous annoncent que ce sera 5 nuits, la première nuit n'étant pas dispo. En effet ils louent ce gîte sur plusieurs plates-formes et les calendriers ne sont pas synchronisés. Au lieu de reconnaître leur erreur d'organisation, de s'excuser, et de paraître un peu concerné par le respect et la satisfaction de leur client, ils nous mentent en prétextant un bug d'Abritel, puis finalement reportent la faute sur leur jeune employée. Ils nous ont répartis dans deux chambres d'hôte, les parents et les enfants, nous laissant charger nos bagages, les décharger le lendemain pour tout déplacer à nouveau dans le gîte. Aucun problème pour eux. Refus de nous offrir le petit déjeuner le lendemain en dédommagement... "ah, mais il y en a qui s'adaptent ! ", nous disent-ils. Pour le reste, nous retenons entre autres la visite pour nous rappeler de faire le ménage avec du savon noir alors que nous avions pris l'option ménage incluse. Les sourires sont exceptionnels, le ton à la limite poli. A la fin, comme ils nous demandent comment ça s'est passé et qu'on a donné honnêtement notre ressenti, nous avons été qualifié de "famille à histoire", "allez-y, partez". Nous ne nous sommes donc pas fait prier !

Douceur de vivre

Vacances très sympa sur les hauteurs entourés d oliviers. Havre de paix je recommande. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et à l écoute! A refaire!

Point de vue agréable dans un endroit très très calme. Proche de tous les endroits à visiter.

Propriété au calme et propice au repos et à la détente dans la grande piscine. A proximité des endroits à voir en Sud Ardèche dont Vallon Pont d'Arc, Ruoms, Vogüe, Balazuc, ... Egalement à proximité des loueurs de canoë pour la descente de l'Ardèche. Visite du moulin à huile des propiétaires intéressante et achat de produits finis possible.

Gite que nous déconseillons malgré une belle piscine

bonjour, l'annonce "gite de charme" est abusif, en effet le gite en question est assez petit, peu de rangement, literie vielle et usée, de nombreuses toiles d’araignée, une porte qui ne ferme pas ( nous attendons l'expert suite a la sécheresse de l'année dernière dixit le propriétaire ) etc ... cependant la piscine est très grande et très agréable. gite que nous déconseillons.

Ein toller Urlaub

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in bewusst ausgewählter sehr ruhiger, schöner Lage mit Blick über die tolle südfranzösische Landschaft. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll und nett eingerichtet. Die Vermieter Genevieve und Jean-Noel sind sehr,sehr nett und hilfsbereit und haben uns auch einige Ausflugsideen mit auf den Weg gegeben. Der Pool ist prima und lädt zum schwimmen ein. es gibt außerdem noch einige Bio- Produkte , unter anderem hervorragendes Olivenöl. Alles in allen, es war ein schöner Urlaub und ich hoffe mich bald wieder dort erholen zu können.

Un petit paradis!

L'accueil de Geneviève et Jean Noël est simple et chaleureux: une vraie rencontre! Le gite L' olivier a tout le confort moderne dans un cadre authentique. L'environnement proche, c'est le calme et la beauté de la pleine nature: chants d'oiseaux, canards, poules et paysage ardéchois. Des sentiers dans la plantation d'oliviers et les collines sont accessibles depuis le gite. Nous regrettons de n'avoir pas pu mieux profiter de l'espace SPA et détente; ce sera pour une autre fois! L' huile d'olive (bio) du domaine est faite avec compétence et amour ainsi que crème d'olive, olives, confitures...: y goûter est incontournable!

En un mot : "magnifique". Superbe région. Au niveau du logement, pas de problème. L'annonce correspond à la réalité. Propriétaire très serviable et sympathique.
