Due to it's fantastic location you'll discover the charming old town, beaches, the lively harbor, and a variety of amenities, including cafes and convenient supermarkets, all just a short stroll away.

## Neighborhood

The Marina area is on the other side of this accommodation and has all you need including restaurants, bars with live music and a large supermarket. The old town with plenty of shops, artists and charming traditional houses is only a short walk away.

Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical center full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical center, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.

## Transit

You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours.

You can easily get around on foot or use public transport. Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier. You will find paid, as well as free street parking in the surrounding areas.

Modern Studio with good location but beware the winter chills

This well-located studio apartment is modern, clean, and features a comfortable bed. However, it may not be suitable for those sensitive to cold, particularly in winter. My stay in February revealed that the building lacks heating, leading to a cold and damp atmosphere. The heating unit in the studio is ineffective. I notified the agency but no one showed up. The heating remote doesn’t coincide with the heating unit. It appears to be programmed to maintain a maximum temperature of 24C. Additionally, cold air seeps in from the hallway, further compromising comfort. Be aware that the provided cleaning and hygiene supplies are minimal, offering only enough for about 1 week for one person. IMO, this studio is best suited for guests who plan to spend most of their days out, using the space primarily for sleeping and showering.
