Secluded Lovely 2 Bedroom Ground Floor Apartment with WiFI Pool and Garden

2 Bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 ensuite toilet with washbasin, sleeps 4 plus infant travel cot.
An elevated private development of only 4 apartments set amongst private villas, with no high rise developments. It has a large swimming pool, set in established gardens with views of the sea and surrounding area.
Our ground floor, sunny apartment is large, pleasant, bright and airy. It has an open plan living room and dining area. Patio doors lead onto a good sized south facing terrace with BBQ and patio furniture, as well as sun loungers. There is also a gate on the veranda to keep children or toddlers from going into the pool or garden area alone. There is a perfect view of the pool and garden from the veranda, lounge and main bedroom. Free WiFi and android TV via the internet, as well as a DVD and CD player. The kitchen is well equipped with pantry items, and features granite worktops and breakfast bar, a gas four ring hob with an electric oven, Bosch dishwasher, microwave, Bosch washing machine, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and cafeteria. There are two double sized bedrooms; one with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and bedside tables. This bedroom has patio doors with a view over the pool. The second bedroom has twin beds, toilet and washbasin en-suite, with wardrobe, and bedside table with three drawers.
The access to the apartment is by a small flight of stairs, approximately four steps, there is also a baby gate s at the front that can be closed to keep toddlers in.
These apartments are unique, as statistically there are very few condominiums with only four residences.
They are set in a lovely quiet area and certainly not overlooked by tall high rise buildings or other apartments

Rejuvenating

March Break

Great property & area. We were given the WRONG KEY CODE to access the apartment. It was a very stressful time for us. Luckily, I had saved some correspondence from last September & after a lot of searching we found a different code which was correct. When we tried to contact the owner, she was not responding to our calls & messages. She said she would look into the “code problem” but never got back to us with an explanation.

Relaxing break

We had a lovely break staying in Praia da Luz. The apartment was ideal for the 4 of us and with the 2nd toilet there were no problems sharing just the shower. The pool is straight outside with areas to sit around the edge in either sun or shade. The walk into Luz is easy but slightly uphill on the way back. Luz is still much less touristy we found than other places and not as busy although we weren’t there in peak season. We really liked the beaches at Luz, Salema and Donna Ana near Lagos and also visited the fish market in Lagos for fresh fish to bbq. The apartment is well equipped and very nicely furnished. The patio area is small but perfect for eating outside. We really enjoyed our stay.

A wonderful oasis

My husband and I stayed here with our teenage children and it was perfect for the four of us. The location was great for staying in Luz and for exploring other towns in the Algarve. The house was well equipped. The owner of the property was very responsive to any questions that arose. We would stay again!

Family holiday in Luz

The apartment was great , it had everything that we needed for a family of 4 . It was clean , decorating nicely, spacious and equipped with everything that you needed. The pool was fabulous and we were very lucky to have had really good neighbours staying at the apartment next to us. The 2 apartments above were residential who introduced themselves on arrival and then we did not see them very much. If there was a slight (very slight) downside, it is next to the main road and a little traffic noise could be heard. This however did not really bother us as the road is a quiet one. Luz beach and central hub is about 10 to 15 minutes walk and it is also close if driving to Burgau. We would definitely go back as we are frequent visitors to Luz .

Fabulous apartment, and beautiful pool

We had a wonderful seven nights here both exploring the region and enjoying the fantastic facilities the apartment offered. Far enough outside Luz to make it relaxing and tranquil, but only a short stroll into town to find numerous restaurants and bars. Alternatively, buy some local ingredients (shellfish particularly recommended) and enjoy a supper on the terrace overlooking the pool and the stars. Highly recommended.

Great location, lovely well equipped apartment

This apartment is really well equipped and spacious. The pool is fantastic and perfect for regular dips to cool down as the weather was glorious. The patio offers welcome shade if required. The apartment is ideally located approximately 10 minutes walk from Luz which suited us to be in a quieter location rather than in the town itself. We loved Luz, plenty of restaurants and bars and the beach is gorgeous. With Lagos being only a 10 minute car journey we found Luz to be perfect and a hidden gem of the Algarve. The owner Kathy was extremely helpful before our trip and during our holiday when we had a query. Highly recommended.

Traumhaftes Appartment

Hallo liebe Kathy, wir hatten in deiner Unterkunft ein sehr schöne Zeit. Der Informationsaustausch hat super stattgefunden. Wir haben auf Basis der GPS Koordinaten die Unterkunft gleich gefunden. Sie wirkte sehr aufgeräumt und durchdacht. Wir haben alles für unsere 5-Köpfige Familie gefunden, was man für das tägliche benötigt. Die Unterkunft war etwa 10 Minuten Fußweg vom Strand entfernt. Was aber keine Probleme für uns darstellte. Der Pool war super. Die Kinder hatten viel Spass. Lediglich das Geschirr mussten wir nochmal nachspülen, was aber kein Problem war. Die Küche verfügte über eine tolle Spülmaschine, und auch Waschmaschine war vorhanden. Nach den ersten 3 Tagen wollte man die Unterkunft eigentlich garnicht mehr in die Heimat verlassen ;-) War sehr schön dort. Wir hatten sehr schöne 9 Tage und da die Wohnung sehr zentral gelegen ist. Waren Ausflüge um die Algarve perfekt. Im Ort gibt es ein SPAR ca. 10 Minuten Fussweg oder in 8 Minuten Fahrzeit ein Aldi. War daher alles da um sich gut zu Versorgen. Ansonsten bietet der Ort viele tolle Projekte am Strand. Luz ist wirklich sehr schön. Und auch nicht so von Touristen überlaufen. War sehr sehr schön. Die Nachbarn waren sehr nett. PS. Die Kinder waren begeistert von der Film Sammlung als auch vom Netflix Programm. Da konnten Sie gut Ihr Englisch aufbessern. Danke das du die tolle Unterkunft hier anbietest. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gerne weiter.

Schöne, helle Ferienwohnung

Wir haben die Zeit in der Ferienwohnung sehr genossen. Sie ist sehr groß, gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr hell. Man hat über die Terasse direkten Zugang zum Pool. Außerdem steht etwas Grünfläche zur Verfügung. Alles war sauber. Es gibt ein kleines Bad ohne Fenster (Lüftung hier recht laut und ineffektiv) und zusätzlich eine Toilette mit Fenster mit Zugang über das Zimmer mit den beiden Einzelbetten. Spülmittel, Geschirrmaschinen Tabs, sowie Gewürze waren nicht vorhanden. Wir reisten mit einem zwei jährigen Kind. Es gibt zwar von der Terasse zum Pool ein kleines Tor, das man abschließen kann. Unser Sohn hatte jedoch keine Probleme es zu öffnen. Das sollte man beachten. Für Kinder gibt es etwas Sandspielzeug und einige Puzzle, was uns gut gefallen hat. Weiterhin einen Kinderstuhl und ggf. Plastikgeschirr. Bei der Dekoration in der Wohnung haben wir einiges (zB Vasen) hochstellen müssen, damit der Kleine nicht daran kommt. Ein Kinderwagen kann gut (und sicher) vor der Haustür abgestellt werden. Zum Strand gelangt man bergab in ca. 10 bis 15 Minuten. Ebenso zum Supermarkt ubd kleineren Geschäften. Generell ist Luz etwas hügelig. Die Wohnung ist sehr hellhörig und der angrenzende Straßenlärm ist zu hören. Uns hat dies jedoch nicht großartig gestört. Das Vermieterpaar selbst haben wir nicht getroffen. Die Kommunikation über Whatsapp war jedoch schnell und unkompliziert. Das Pärchen, das über der Wohnung wohnt, schien sehr nett und entspannt. Alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung!

Unos días inolvidables.

Sólo puedo decir que la casa es maravillosa... No le falta un solo detalle y se nota el mimo e interés de los propietarios por hacer lo más agradable posible la estancia en la casa. El jardín es muy bonito y acogedor. La piscina muy cómoda y perfectamente mantenida y limpia. El salón muy grande y cálido y la cocina muy práctica, con todos los accesorios imaginables. La limpieza es realmente exquisita. La orientación es perfecta, con el gran ventanal del salón mirando al sur, con vistas al jardín y a la vez protegida por la sombra de las grandes palmeras que lo rodean. Hay dos estupendos baños, algo muy de agradecer. Sin duda, más que recomendable...
