Situated outside of Algund (Lagundo), a suburb of Merano (Meran), the cosy and well-furnished apartment “Ferienwohnung LafreidAlgund” is ideal for relaxing holidays close to many spas and the scenic mountain landscapes of South Tyrol and the Passeier Valley (Val Passiria). The 82 m² apartment consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 2 bedrooms (one with an additional bunk bed for 2 people) as well as one bathroom and an additional toilet and can therefore accommodate 6 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, satellite and cable television and a children’s bed (on request). You can start the day with coffee in the private garden with seating furniture and nice views of the surrounding mountains. A supermarket is only 300 m or a 4-minute walk away, a bakery id 400 m or a 5-minute walk away, and a pharmacy can be reached after an 11-minute walk (900 m). Cafés and restaurants are also within a 5-minute walk (400 m) from the apartment. From a bus stop, which is only 300 m (a 4-minute walk) away, you can get to the charming centre of Meran (Merano) in only 11 minutes, where you can enjoy the many cafés, shops and the lovely architecture. The famous spa and thermal bath complex “Therme Meran” is only 6 bus stops from the apartment and invites you to relax and discover the many pools, saunas and recreational facilities. There are several cable cars to the surrounding mountain tops within 10-15 minutes by car (5-7 km) from the apartment, and in winter you can go skiing at the “Meran 2000” skiing area after a mere 18-minute drive (8.4 km), while plenty of great hiking and cycling routes start basically at the front door. Bolzano (Bozen), South Tyrol’s vibrant capital, lies a 32-minute drive (34 km) south of Meran (Merano).

Schön renovierter Obsthof in zentraler Lage

Pros: Das Haus bzw. Ferienwohnung hat einen kleinen separaten Garten der eingezäunt ist. War somit auch ideal mit unserem Hund. Lage des Hauses sehr gut, nur wenige Minuten bis zum Zentrum von Algund und trotzdem recht ruhig. Vermieter ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit. Cons: Keine Kritikpunkte

In diesem wunderbaren Ambiente haben wir uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt.

Pros: Eine sehr geräumige und schöne Wohnung, sehr gut ausgestattet insbesondere die Küche, sehr schöne Sitzgelegenheiten im Garten; der kleine, nur zu dieser Wohnung gehörende Garten ist eingezäunt und war dadurch ideal für uns als Hundebesitzer. Sehr gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Das Vermieterehepaar ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Dorfzentrum von Algund ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten erreichbar, trotzdem insgesamt sehr ruhige Wohnlage. Auch schöne Wanderwege sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Häufige Busverbindungen nach Meran vom Dorfzentrum Algund. Cons: Bewertungen sind immer sehr individuell und hängen von persönlichen Urlaubsvorstellungen ab. Meine Familie hatte absolut nichts auszusetzen.

Raum für viel Leben

Die Wohnung war so freundlich und einladend, dass wir sogar in Socken gelaufen sind - was bei uns SEHR selten passiert. Die Räume sind großzügig und gut geschnitten, es ist viel Platz für Kinder vorhanden - die können sich hier gut bewegen. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft und bietet viel. Vor allem aber sind die Gastgeber ganz reizende Menschen.
