Rooms were overall clean. Full kitchen with dishwasher were a plus. Staff was friendly and pools were clean. Beach was less than 5 minutes away. We’ll be back.

Great room for the five of us. Kitchen, washer and dryer and two bathrooms. We had a ground level room and was able to just walk out onto the grounds straight to the pool. The bed was comfortable there was plenty of storage. The furniture was pretty too.

Stayed for a week here in a 2 bedroom/bath. Was myself/wife and 2 teens (16f & 14m). Plenty of room and good location. Apartment itself was in very good condition and all appliances worked great (fridge was set to off though which you need to check before you bring home a load of Costco food to a fridge that takes 8 hours to fully cool lol). Having a washer and dryer was heaven and meant we could pack much less. The grounds and pool were very nice and peaceful. It has a restaurant that served good basic food and was actually cheaper than most places around there. The beach is a bit narrow but fine for swimming but not for snorkeling or surfing (those are north and south respectively). Just a warning that a rental car is a necessity but expensive (min. $700 a week and get insurance as they WILL find something wrong). Most activaties are a short drive (10-15 minutes if you stay on the west side) but public transport or taxis are slow or expensive. Great value for families instead of 2 hotel rooms. Would stay again.

We had a fantastic experience staying at AEI at Kā‘anapali Shores! The location is incredibly convenient — just a short walk to a supermarket, great local restaurants, and even a fun food truck park. The amenities were top-notch, and I especially appreciated the permanent pickleball court and covered parking — huge perks for active travelers and families. The staff was prompt and responsive, even during a tsunami warning. Their calm communication made us feel safe and well cared for. Our room had a beautiful ocean view, and while the property isn’t brand new, it’s very well-maintained and clean throughout. If you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and aloha spirit on Maui, I highly recommend staying here!

Loved this condo/hotel! The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s close to a grocery store, food trucks and an ABC Store. The pools were perfect and the beach was clean. Definitely recommend!!
