Relaxed, Beautiful Stay in Napili We really enjoyed our stay! We wanted a more laid-back Hawaiian experience rather than a big resort, and this was perfect. The two-story condo-style buildings have a relaxed vibe and are very clean and comfortable. Pros: The view is phenomenal, and you can snorkel right outside your door in either of the surrounding bays — we saw sea turtles every day! There are two pools: the oceanfront one is quieter and more adult, while the garden pool has more families. Housekeeping came every couple of days to refresh towels and make beds. Our ocean-view room had a lovely view and balcony. Check-in after hours was easy — security met us right away. Cons: Arriving at night gave a bit of a Motel 8 impression from the back of the buildings, but by morning it was beautiful. The decor and furniture are dated (early 2000s style), and the bed was soft and sunken in the middle, though everything was spotless and well-kept. Napili Shores gives that authentic, peaceful Hawaii feel — calm, safe, and scenic. It’s about an hour from the airport but well worth it. We’re already planning to return!

The room was great. But aging. The view was exquisite. The shower pressure was quite weak. But the enclosure was very nice. The cable sucked and we had a firestick controller that the tv was too old for. The coffee pot heating plate failed. The rooms were quite comfortable and clean.

The property is right on the water with magnificent sunsets. It had 2 pools and a spa. There were 2 great restaurants onsite as well. The apartment was in godd condition but was not stocked with anything. No chairs or beach gear, the kitchen was devoid of anything but the basic utensils. Napili beach was very close to walk to with great snorkeling.

Very relaxing stay, loved the patio, ocean views and sound of ocean. Gazebo has long lines for breakfast, but they have an option to order to go and eat at your own lanai. We will come back to Napili Shores next time we come to Maui.

Excellent view and nice pools. Beach access was fairly easy to get to but the stairs to the sand beach were falling apart when we got there. Later in the week the boards were removed but the last step down was pretty high for our toddler to get down. Room was clean but could use some simple updates. Otherwise overall it was a nice stay and we would come again.

We stayed at Napili Shores 7 nights at the beginning of September (2 adults) and loved it! Our studio room was ocean front, on the first floor, so we could walk out onto the green lawn and enjoy the view of Napili Beach (which is only a short board walk away!). We had our meals out on the covered patio every day! The property buildings are only two stories, so they blend in with the vegetation: they might bit slightly dated, but the grounds are lined with plumeria trees, well kept and very clean! The staff was kind and friendly. There's a small "strip mall" (Napili Plaza) with a local grocery stores a 15-min walk away. We had a wonderful time! Highly recommended!
