If you want a good night sleep ,don’t stay here the music is super load like trying to sleep in a discotheque ! They play load music just outside your room from the hotel pool and restaurant till midnight!

* location / town: a bright, remote, authentic old fishing village that is on the bay, surrounded by mangroves. if you wanna get wet, you can rent kayaks or charter a boat. theres also the 24/7 hotel pool. downtown is steps away from the hotel with a few places to drink and eat as well as knicknack booths and live music. there are 2 experiences: 1) weekends - good nightlife, everything is open and open later with more people. mix of folks. 2) weekdays - empty, but serene. quiet. most places close earlier, and some dont open at all. mostly locals. * hotel: white stucco hotel with blue roof, scenic on on a small hill with an amazing view of the water and town. gorgeous open air layout, tasteful natural modern decor with live plants. suset/sunrise were the best part. coffee bar is 24/7 as were the staff, who were great, and quick to address any issue. angie and jesus were incredible and welcoming. i stayed in an "ocean view" room - it was small but somehow still roomy. well lit. clean. has everything you need. large bathroom with a beautiful standing shower (which does get hot). patio table and chairs just outside.felt very safe. clarifying that there were no in room massages offered unless i missed something (saw this noted somewhere) more pros than cons; the cons are only cons if you weren't prepared - get a rental car if you're coming on a weekday or plan to go to the beach (great beaches 15 min away).bring snacks if you get hungry after 11pm i'd come back!

We LOVED this resort! It was quiet and relaxing, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. We felt like this was a great area to relax and unwind while also getting a feel for local Puerto Rico. I am missing it already!

Lovely stay

The hotel staff are amazing - so friendly and helpful. The pools and beds/lounge chairs were so nice to hang out at. Prices are fair for PR. The bed was comfy and they have an amenity list if you're interested in surprising your partner.

We enjoyed the location. Our only complaints were that if you have the beach view rooms, the music by the pool keeps you up until they turn it off, and it is loud when you are trying to relax by the pool. Also the shower in your room will have very little or no hot water anytime you use it. The staff was fabulous and friendly.

Nice amenities, poor sleep

Overall, it is a nice place. The service is good, food at the restaurant is good and overall vibe is nice. However, if you are in rooms 1-4, don't expect to sleep well. The music at the bar doesn't stop until around 11pm and then before 7am, someone appeared to be leaf blowing outside our room. I can't speak for how sleep would be in the other rooms, but for certain, avoid these over-the-pool rooms.

The staff was very professional and so friendly. It was a very clean hotel with comfortable beds and beautiful decoration. The location was right by the plaza where so much happens, but far enough away to still be a quite, calm place to relax. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is also right by the location to take a boat to swim in the bioluminescent bay - an amazing adventure!

No hot running water in the room. The staff was rude and acted as if it was our problem and not theirs. We spent the entire weekend, 3 days without hot water in the room. When asked to speak to a manager, they said that there was no manager available over the weekend. We asked for another room and they said that only the manager could authorize a change in rooms. After about 1 hour a manager miraculously appeared and said she would fix the hot water problem. After 2 hrs still no hot water. We again asked to be placed in another room, they reluctantly agreed and made us move ourselves, without any help, to a much smaller room which had the shower faucet broken in pieces with parts o. The bathroom floor. They then said that we should move back to our old room, that the hot water heater was working again for that room. Again we had to move our selfs and no help was offered, only bad looks. The hot water went out again that night and never came back. We left on the 3rd day with no hot water and when we told the staff at the front desk, again, about the hot water, they just gave us a half smirk and have us our bill. Not even an apology. Do not stay at this hotel. Complete nightmare. Staff is rude and not helpful. They just dont care. We were repeat customers, but never again. Do not make our same mistake. Go elsewhere.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Palguera Plaza Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality, modern accommodations, and the perfect location in La Parguera. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with stylish, comfortable rooms that offer everything needed for a relaxing stay. The beds were incredibly cozy, and the attention to detail in the room’s design made it feel like a true retreat. One of the highlights was the rooftop pool and bar, where we enjoyed breathtaking sunset views over the water. The atmosphere was peaceful, perfect for unwinding with a cocktail in hand. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to offer recommendations or ensure that every need was met. Being in the heart of La Parguera, the hotel is just steps away from the vibrant waterfront, excellent restaurants, and boat tours to the famous bioluminescent bay. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, this location has it all. We highly recommend Palguera Plaza Hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious, adults-only getaway in Puerto Rico.
