Family get together

Off the beaten path, home away from home with plenty room for everyone. Even our "fur" baby enjoyed herself. Far enough, yet close enough to anything you would need. We didn't bring a boat, but wish we had. We still did some fishing, but it wasn't a "catching" day.

Such a cute property. The house was very clean, and outside was kept up. On a small canal. Can only accommodate a small boat that will fit on lift. Not enough room in the canal to park a boat. Had an amazing stay, close to restaurants, casino, and water.

Lovely home on the water

The house is lovely. Everything was clean and decorated so nicely. It is rare to find a house on the water that you don’t have to climb a flight of stairs or higher to get into. we really appreciated that. Yes the bedrooms are upstairs but that is no big deal. We use the boat lift so convenient to have our boat there ready to go anytime we wanted to.

A great place to stay!

The house was very nice, including comfortable beds & a great A/C. We caught crab off the back yard in the canal each day. Holly beach is a quick trip away as well and we enjoyed the day there. Overall had a great time and would recommend staying here!

I really enjoy my stay. The house is super cute!! It’s perfect for a little get away for a quiet and peaceful weekend. The house/kitchen is fully equipped with pretty much anything you need! Gumbo pots etc. perfect Cajun house!

Our experience with this property was great until the pump went out while we were washing clothes and doing dishes and we had no water until the following morning. The property manager was quick to respond but still couldn’t get someone out until the next day so we had to go to bed without showers and couldn’t brush our teeth. We thought we should have been offered a refund for 1 night, but they never offered anything. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay

This is the perfect place so clean and comfortable we caught about two dozen or more crabs, and we really enjoyed ourselves. the host was very nice and friendly and made you feel so welcome if there was anything I needed. I would advise anyone to not look any further the place is exceptional and beautiful and so comfortable.

STOP searching elsewhere and get this place!! You will not be dissappointed! Super clean, ( very important to us, clean SHOWERS and TUBS, TOILETS, KITCHEN, COUCHES aren't stained). very spacious, gorgeous decor, stores are very close by! We used the dollar general just up the road a few times! We got to enjoy fishing just a road or two over in our little boat. Even went to Holly Beach which was a little under an hour away! The neighbors kids taught us how to catch blue crabs right off the backyard into the water! That was one of their favorite things to do, because you are sure to catch one QUICK! The owner was super nice and VERY responsive! We will definitely be returning if ever in that area again!!!!

Great Big Lake rental! House was comfortable, well decorated and extremely clean. New deck was a great place to watch the sunset and the new boatlift made fishing very convenient. Carly was great to work with. We’ll be back for more fishing!

The property was everything we expected and more. Great place for a family or group getaway. Easy access to the water for fishermen. Canal is a little shallow at low tide . Bulkhead just replaced and looks great and was done right . New boat house in progress. We expect to rent this place again.
