Do not book this place! Before I arrived I received a check-in link and it asked me to submit my ID and Credit Card information to pay for the $20 pet fee and incidentals. When I arrived the front desk clerk demanded I give her my credit card again, I told her I checked in online and had already paid the fee. She became short and rude as she explained that it didn’t actually charge me, it just placed a hold. Completely understandable. She handed me the key to the room and it was for the 2nd floor. I asked if there was anything on the ground floor since I had also requested that during booking. She said no and also informed me that there are no elevators either. When I walked into my room I was hit with a wall of cigarette stench. A visible ashtray on the side table. I rang downstairs and told them I didn’t book a smoking room, the clerk insisted I picked a smoking room. If I now wanted a non-smoking room, I would need to pay an additional $30. I thought it was outrageous, especially since I didn’t book a smoking room. Since I booked with Expedia, she told me to take it up with them. Expedia took zero accountability even though they confirm that I didn’t select a smoking room. They tell me the hotel will not budge & I have to pay. Only after escalating the call did they agree to cover the $30 in the form of a credit! The clerk called the owner and they were also unwilling to help even though it was midnight on Easter. I left & forfeited $80 because I couldn’t justify $50 more.

The first was very dirty and smelled smoke. The second room has a stained chair, leaking refrigerator and a very noisy AC. Anyway, I got at the hotel around 12:45am, so I needed to rest.

Tractor trailers across the parking lot running their generators all night. Front desk staff dressed very slovenly. Breakfast was non-existant, had no coffee prepared. It appeared that prostitutes we're working out of a few of the rooms. Not a facility to take a family too.

Breakfast was less than meager. The light cover in the bath area fell out. It was loose and shook off when the exhaust fan was turned on. Light bulbs flickered and gave little lift in the bedroom. All metals were covered with rust. The bed was not comfortable. Most paint was pealing.
