My experience and my guest experience was terrible at the Cove. I checked in 8/31 and Jennifer the front desk floor manager took our reservations. I requested and paid in advance a balcony room. Jennifer said they did receive my request however she said we only have two options available one is a patio, and the other is a balcony facing nature. She stated this as I witnessed many people checking in with other representatives. I was in room 344 the studio, the bed was the worst. You can feel coils in the bed and the bed squeaked. I and my guest were in pain when we woke up for two days. The coffee maker was broken, the balcony had bird feces, the wall behind the toilet was not painted, the wood on the table and cabinet was chipped with nicks and scratches. This room was definitely not worth $524 with the $50 resort fee and on top of that a $100 deposit. I did bring the concerns of the bed and coffee maker, shower making noises to the front desk, I requested another room with Ivy who asked how my stay was, and I advised of all my concerns. I was not granted another room, Ivy stated "I'm very sorry, but your current room is the only one available for the entirety of your stay". In addition, we patronized the hotel gift shop and coffee shop. Not sure if going through Expedia the Cove gives out rooms that obviously need repair. I will never stay at the Cove again.

Been to the Cove for years. Love it and location. This time was different. First night did not get any sleep. Had large light outside deck. Plus on top of pool with lights. . Room 306 had white paper thin blinds. Front desk Haley was very nice. Gave me choice to pick one of 2 rooms. Both l thought had better blinds. Still bedroom at night by pool lights in room bright. Rooms were nice but cannot sleep in bright bedroom. Everyone at Cove very nice. Restaurant attached had prime rib special. Very good large portion. Last year ribs were excellent. Looking forward to next year will have to request not on top of pool. Thank you.

Overall good, don't do well with requests

The only thing I was disappointed about was that we requested a room with an oven and were told we'd likely get it, and then we didn't. The elevators also sometimes take a long time to the higher floors - some don't even go to the 4th floor. The second day we had to go to the desk to ask for coffee as that wasn't refilled. We got engaged there, but there were no extra add ons at all. It was very good overall - the location is wonderful, and the indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub are great!

I had stayed at the Cove years ago, and it's definitely been updated since then. You can't beat the location, and the pool was not overly busy with plenty of seats to choose from. The rooms were plenty big. Will definitely be back

Excellent location. Super fun hotel for families with children too small for water parks. The units are hit or miss. Our Belle Loft Suite had a broken microwave, broken coffee machine, barely functional refrigerator, and desperately needs new mattresses.
