From the patio, you can take in breathtaking views of Lake Junaluska and the surrounding mountains. Keep an eye out for bald eagles soaring overhead and listen for the soothing sounds of ducks and Canada geese as you relax, dine, and savor the tranquility of a mountain lake getaway.

Situated in the heart of the Lake Junaluska Conference & Retreat Center, this apartment is just a 5-minute walk from all Lake Junaluska Conference Center meeting spaces. You’ll find a variety of recreational amenities nearby, including an outdoor swimming pool, a large playground for children ages 2-10, canoe, kayak, and paddleboard rentals, a mini-golf course, tennis courts, a basketball court, a gift shop with an ice cream counter, and a cafe. Please note that any recreation fees are your responsibility.

The location is great. The back porch is a good place to relax late or early but lots of traffic noise 8-5 since main road is right there. Great to have parking in the back. The place could use a good cleaning to remove the spider webs in corners, on walls, and under furniture. Screen door is broken so it lacks some ventilation because of mosquitoes after dark but it stayed cool despite no AC on what was a hot weekend. The place could use a paint refresh. The furniture was adequate and comfortable. Lacks any counter space so not good to think you will actually prepare and cook something.

Honeymoon at Lake Junaluska

We loved the little apartment and the view of the lake. I wish it had air conditioning and maybe something for the musty smell ( deionizer) .. other than this it was very nice..😊
