Eagle House is the perfect landing spot for a big group. Just north of Lake Leelanau, you are in the heart of everything in Leelanau County. Eagle House offers plenty of privacy, seclusion, and space! This home is situated on 6+ acres and surrounded by towering trees and private hiking trails.

Eagle House has 6 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, and sleeps up to 14, (and is also a wonderful home for smaller groups!). Four of the bedrooms have attached bathrooms. The bedrooms consist of one king, four queens, and a twin over full bunk. There are 3 bedrooms on the main level and 3 bedrooms on the upper level. The bunk room is accessed through the master suite. The master suite offers a private, full bath, king bed, large windows offering views of the woods, and a Smart TV.

Step into a spacious kitchen with a dishwasher and plenty of space for meal prep. Serving a big group or need that extra space for drinks? There is an additional fridge just a few steps down on the lower level. The bright and open kitchen is set up well for cooking and entertaining, with lots of counter space and a kitchen island. Enjoy your breakfast or morning coffee at the cozy kitchen table.

In the living room enjoy a bright and open living space with Smart TV over the fireplace. Walk-out French doors provide access to the back deck and patio. A large collection of movies is offered to enjoy movie night. Bluetooth sound bar allows you to pair and play music. There is also a selection of board games and cards for game time. Have some quiet time and cozy up in one of the window nooks and take in a book.

The covered front porch offers rocking chairs and a relaxing spot to gather and enjoy the expansive views of the outdoors. The back of the property has a deck with a Weber gas grill to cook up all your favorites. On the back patio, gather for meals and good times under the trees at the large, outdoor dining table. Nearby, enjoy low-smoke bonfires in the Solo Stove fire pit and Adirondack chairs. There is plenty of green space and open area amongst this sprawling property for games and other activities. There is a hot tub off of the back deck.

Eagle House can be found in the heart of Leelanau wine and farm country. Just north of the Village of Lake Leelanau, Eagle House is 5 miles to the town of Leland on Lake Michigan and Suttons Bay on West Grand Traverse Bay. Public beach access on Lake Leelanau is about 2 miles away. Boat launches on north and south Lake Leelanau are less than 5 minutes away. Lake Michigan beaches in Leland, Suttons Bay as well as Good Harbor Beach are nearby.

Great kitchen space and well equipped as we made Thanksgiving dinner and plenty of casserole dishes for all the sides. A few more comfy chairs for living room would help with adult seating. Loved the game room and hot tub.

Mom's wine weekend

Very spacious house! Each bedroom has an attached bathroom, great hot tub and bon fire pit. We toured lots of wineries in Suttons Bay and it was the perfect landing place. We do this every year, but yhis was our first time at this house and we will definitely be back!

Family wedding at Aurora Cellars

We booked this property because it was so close to Aurora Cellars. Our daughter got married there this past weekend. It was a great place for siblings and spouses. Although I was thinking that all the bedrooms had their own room and bathroom, but the bedroom with the bunk beds were actually in the master bedroom and we had to share our bathroom with them. A little disappointing for the money we paid. Also they mowed the lawn and cleaned out the hot tub while we were staying there.

Toast the Season wine weekend

This was our group's second visit to the Eagle House. There were 4 couples, and it was so perfect to have our own bedrooms with bathrooms! We love the kitchen, dining and living rooms, too, as well as the basement and huge yard. It is a beautiful, clean, comfortable home away from home, and we look forward to returning next year!!

This house is AMAZING! Our blended family of kids LOVED that each had their own room as well as the games in the basement! House is centrally located 30 minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City and the Grand Traverse Lighthouse. Definitely would recommend staying here!

Girls 60th birthday celebration
