Camp Little Pine is located at Whiteface Club Resort on the shore of Lake Placid. The house sits on the edge of the golf course and has commanding views of both Whiteface Mountain and the High Peaks region. The house was uniquely designed by its owners: Michael Bird, architect of Adirondack Design and Mari Kirwood Bird, interior designer of Mari Kirwood Design Associates.

The house represents their talents, showcasing their style with the ambiance and comfort of home with furniture from the finest Adirondack furniture makers today. Amenities include everything you would need except your own clothes! This is one of the most attractively decorated homes in the area guaranteed to place you in the lap of luxury with the finest furnishing around.

With four bedrooms, and four full baths we are sure to accommodate your family and guests. Our kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Walk out the back door and enjoy a round of golf, a cross-country ski, or take a short walk to sit at the edge of Lake Placid or enjoy a fine dining experience at the newly renovated Lake Placid Lodge.

Lake Placid Getaway

We had a fantastic stay at Camp Little Pine in Lake Placid. The home was very clean and beautifully decorated with a classic Adirondack feel. The spacious screened-in porch and roof deck offered stunning views of the golf course and surrounding mountains — we spent most of our time out there! The cabin was thoughtfully stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay, and Michael was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. We’re already looking forward to coming back for another summer or winter escape.

Amazing stay at Camp Little Pine!!

We really enjoyed our winter getaway in Lake Placid. The location of the house is perfect--right on golf course with access to cross country ski trails, which we used daily, Its 5 minute drive to grocery store and town. The house was perfect, beautifully decorated, 4 bedrooms and amazing game room for teens downstairs. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and we enjoyed cooking meals together. We also enjoyed a cozy fire in evenings. We hope to return!

Another fabulous stay at Camp Little Pine

Beautiful, upscale home with the most amazing screened in porch. We were on and off the golf course, and in and out of Lake Placid and town all day. Great location, easy communication and we are already excited about our next stay at Camp Little Pine!

Unexpected delight

When we pulled in to the house, the initial impression was "what?!?" as it doesn't boast the grandeur of the surrounding homes. But as soon as we walked in, we were enchanted by the place. Each room was meticulously decorated with woodsy charm. The gourmet kitchen was spectacular. I thoroughly enjoyed making our meals. The glass enclosed porch was enormous. Such a pity that it doesn't have a heating system bc it was too cold to enjoy. I would definitely return but in a different season to fully enjoy the space. We snowshoed to the trail surrounding lake placid which was great and its a 10 minute ride to lake placid village.

Lovely house - adults and kids had a blast. Enjoyed the fireplace and open concept. Bedrooms were spacious. Wish the sunroom was heated so we could enjoy that space too but it was lovely to look at :) Thank you!

Spectacular Adirondack vacation house

If you know what an Adirondack “great camp” is and you want a taste of that rustic beauty but with every modern amenity, this is the place. It has a porch and second floor deck with crazy views of the mountains and golf course. Host/owners are so easy to work with. Experience there was seamlessly wonderful- of course weather and foliage cooperated too which didn’t hurt! Just awesome.

Adirondack Happiness

The property is beautifully appointed, and perfectly located for golf, lake, town & whiteface resort fun. We found the layout of the property to be excellent with large common areas, and then separated bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. We had three couples, an infant, toddler, and three Everyone had privacy and quiet when they needed it, as all as so much opportunity for togetherness. We comfortably hosted family dinners and were on the screened in porch at every opportunity! Communication with Michael was easy and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Ski House

This is our 5th year staying at Camp Little Pine. It’s very comfortable after a day of skiing with lots of room for the family to spread out. Very convenient to Lake Placid and all of the winter attractions.
