The front desk staff were extremely friendly. They answered any questions we had. They opened doors for us. The staff at breakfast was also accommodating. They provided me with gluten free bread when I inquired. The breakfast was plentiful. The selection was varied to suit multiple palates. Fresh fruit other than apples would have been a nice addition. We did not use housekeeping but our room was very clean upon arrival.

Great place to stay in Lake Placid! Right in town, just a short walk from the Main Street, means you’re not in the busiest part of town. Very welcoming staff, clean rooms set up for guests with tons of sports gear to dry out after a long day in the mountains. Early breakfast, and well equipped gym space are definitely a plus. I’ll definitely be back in the future!

Lake Placid Inn is a beautiful hotel with outstanding rooms and an unbeatable location. Everything felt clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax the moment we arrived. The staff was friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall great experience. One of the highlights of our stay was that the hotel happened to be hosting a youth hockey team—hearing the energy and excitement in the halls brought back great memories of our own son’s youth hockey days. It made the trip feel a little extra special. Highly recommend staying here!
