Cleanliness definitely was not good-there was food in both fridge that we had to clean out closets swept out as well, also communication could have been way better no check in or check out instructions provided, had to try and contact host wayyyy too many times, other than that very spacious nice home for a big family.

Not bad but needs repairs

We booked this house for Christmas with our family. I had to ask host how to check-in and for any other info. Unlike most properties, there were no details about the house, garbage days, check-out info, etc. I got email from host a couple of days before our check-in day. She said that the dock was damaged and we could cancel. With such short notice, there was no other option but stay there. The house had just been cleaned. We had to search for towels, they were in the dryer. The photos are a bit deceiving and weren't recent. The carpets are all stained and look to have water damage in the living room. The hall bathroom has ceiling tiles and lighting missing. We didn't know what to do when we checked out so we just did the basics, took out trash, washed dishes, etc. Overall, it could be a GREAT rental with some work but for now, it was just okay.

Great location. No communication.

I received no communication from the host until 30 minutes after we were able to check in (despite messaging her through the app multiple times starting a month prior to our stay). There was also no communication about check out until I reached out to our host directly via text. Bathroom, kitchen & bed linens were clean but the house as a whole needs a deep clean.

We loved the rental. Good fenced yard for our dog. Living room was excellent with great seating and big screen TV. Very clean. Kitchen well equipped.

Nice place and location

The place was exactly as described. A lot of seating in the living room which I loved. The dock and lake were accessible during our stay, but the host communicated this to us. It had no impact on our stay since we spent most of our time out. I also liked how the parking is set up with the circular drive. Makes it so much easier when accommodating multiple car.
