Always love staying here. This was our fifth time. Rooms are always clean and staff friendly/helpful. Only hiccup this time was at check-in... our codes were incorrect. We did get it figured out, relatively quickly, but a little embarrassing, as we had told two other couples to stay there, too. Didn't make for a great first impression, but after that, everything was good and I think our friends understand why we like staying at The Hungry Trout!

Very comfortable beds! Very roomy. Short drive to Lake Placid. One of best motels we have stayed at. Only complaint, and it's minor, no microwave in the room. Short walk to the office to use theirs.
