The room was spotless, and cozy. The bed was super comfortable. The location is also ideal — just minutes from Heavenly Village, the lake, and plenty of restaurants and shops. It was quiet at night, too, which made for a great night’s sleep. Parking was free and easy, which is always a plus.

The Alpine Inn & Spa Room is not ready due to the repairs. I was sent to another property nearby which is Big Pines. The room is large with a jacuzzi but it is dirty and there is a smell of marijuana.

Our family had a great stay at Alpine Inn & Spa! The rooms were clean and comfortable. We loved the convenient location — just minutes from the lake and restaurants. The kids enjoyed the pool, and the hot tub was a nice way to relax after a fun day outdoors. We’d definitely stay here again!

I really enjoyed my stay at Alpine Inn & Spa! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept — exactly what you want for a relaxing getaway in South Lake Tahoe. The bed was cozy, the space was inviting, and everything felt fresh and tidy. The staff were wonderful — friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. The amenities were a great bonus !

Convenient Dive Motel

The room was full of old, worn furniture. The mattress was cheap & thin. The linens were old & worn. The tv remote was missing. I went to the office & she said, "here, try this one." It didn't work. It's somewhat of a dive but it was across the street from the concert I attended so it was convenient for that.

Budget motel in great location. Old but clean, in repair, homey. Front desk staff very helpful. Not luxury, but for the price a real find. I’ve paid a lot more for a lot worse. We had daytime construction but not obnoxious. Quiet. Decent bed.

The listing states 2 queen beds, but they look like 2 full sized beds instead. The windows didn’t have screens, so you couldn’t leave them open. The mirror was chipped, cracked, and had build up. The pool was not cleaned during the 3 days I was there. We ended up just going to the lake instead of using their hot tub. The front desk Asian lady was beyond rude, won’t give you eye contact, won’t greet you, smile, and wouldn’t even consider changing our room after we brought up these concerns. She stated, you get what you paid for. I would not recommend this place unless it was one of your last choices.

I left some items in of 3 rooms I rented. I was told by management that they had possession of them. I followed their directions to retrive them using a UPS prepaid shipping label. I have called numerous times, emailed, and asked hotel.com also contact them about this issues. Stay was an average stay.

I stayed here because it was pet-friendly and I had to make a last minute change to a previous reservation at a different property. Location was perfect as it was right across the venue from a concert I was attending, and even allowed us to hear the sound check. I was not greeted upon checkin. Just, "She will check you in." Very impersonal. The room needs a serious upgrade, and had some smudges on the bathroom door jamb that were suspect. Used a wipe to clean it off. Ugh. Good for those on a serious budget. I would not stay here again.

I'm guessing that the spa is just the odd permanent aboveground hot tub, because we didn't see a menu. The room itself was clean but old and cramped. It worked well, and the price was right for just two friends going to a concert next door, which is the highlight of this place. It is directly across the street from the outdoor concert venue at Ceasar's. This is a pro and a con. Hope you like sound checks. The lobby isn't open until 4pm, so don't try to check in early, and make sure you have everything you need.
