I enjoyed my stay here. Yes, the hotel is older and is weathered, but it has a certain charm to it. They do a nice job of maintaining the plants and trees in the courtyard, which makes it look very nice and gives a really cool tropical vibe, especially at night with the lights and the glow of the pool. The pool was at a decent temperature for a dip, even with it being only 70 outside in December. I appreciated the free breakfast offered each morning. The lady cooking over the weekend was kind and they make your eggs to order. As far as location, it is only a mile or so to Lake Worth Beach. There is a sidewalk that goes all the way to the beach if you don't mind the walk. If not, it's just a few minutes drive to the parking lot near the beach. It's also just a few minutes to the onramp to I-95 to get where you need to go fast. My only complaint was that I had some trouble using my keycard to open my room and the front gate. The staff was very responsive if you just call them on the phone and let them know what you need and they will help you with it. Bottom line for me, is that the price is right and it is in an excellent location. Face it, if you're looking for a low-cost motel in South Florida, you will be hard-pressed to find anything at a lower cost and better value than this place.

The staff are wonderful, but the room and such leave a lot to be desired. I had to turn the TV off by unplugging it because the DirectTV buttons did not operate the TV, just changed channels. (I also couldn't adjust the volume on it.) The room was dingy, and the bed rather uncomfortable. The only reason I didn't give this one star is because the staff was so friendly.
