Clean and Welcoming!

We loved staying at this charming 3/1. The owner was very clear in his communication and sent arrival instructions in plenty of time. I loved that there was Keurig coffee, water bottles, filtered water in the fridge and even wine! The beds were comfy - harder and softer pillows on each - plenty to choose from! Everything was so clean - I can't find a thing to complain about. The neighborhood is quiet and only a block from a lake that has a nice hike/bike trail. I'm a runner, so it's important to me to have a safe place to run in the morning - it was perfect. I highly recommend and would choose it again for myself.

Charming stay in Historic District

We came for Sun n Fun but fell in love with Lakeland and this charming neighbourhood and this house! The house is vintage but updated with a good functional kitchen, a great shower and excellent laundry machines -- and fabulously effective AC! We really enjoyed our stay and found our host to be really friendly and responsive. Good tv, lots of games and books. Great parking and an outdoor area to relax in.

Two days in Haven

Cozy home in quaint, convenient neighborhood. Property was as pictured, described and perfectly appointed. Walking distance to several eateries and a short drive to downtown, spring training, Florida Southern college and lakes. Communication with owner was seamless. Loved learning about the history and culture of Lakeland while during our Central FL getaway.

Lakeland getaway

I live in Maryland and wanted to book a few days in Florida to escape the cold. Stephen’s house was just what we needed. Very comfortable and clean - and in a great neighborhood. Easy walking distance to the lake - or local shopping. My husband and teenager both enjoyed our visit. I would definitely recommend this rental. Our favorite places were Born and Bread (walkable) and Munn Park (very short drive away)

We really enjoyed our stay! We travel to Lakeland several times a year, and this was the most convenient location we've had yet. Super close to everything. Loved staying in the house. Very clean, well equipped. Stephen is an excellent host and checked on us several times. Highly recommend and will stay here again!

Another Wonderful Stay at Haven on Hunter

This is my third stay at this property, with a total of five weeks spent here. I genuinely can’t say enough good things about it, or the host, Stephen. All aspects of my stay were picture perfect. The house is amazing. The neighborhood is charming. Everything you need is there, and the house is so clean. Stephen goes out of his way to make sure you’re comfortable, and that your stay is a delight. Don’t hesitate! Reserve this house for your next stay in Lakeland. You’ll be so happy you did. This place is a true gem.

Love, Love, Love, Love This House!

After selling my house and waiting until my new one was available, I stayed at this gorgeous historic home for more than a month. I loved every second of it, and just cannot say enough good things about it. The house itself has old-fashioned charm, with all the modern updates you could desire. It’s spacious, while being cozy at the same time. The beds are insanely comfortable. The decor and color scheme are perfect. The neighborhood is beautiful, easy to find, quiet, and peaceful. If you’re looking for the picture perfect place to stay in Lakeland, either along, as a couple, or with a larger group, you won’t be disappointed by Haven on Hunter. As for me, even though I’m local, I would book this house again in an instant, any time I need to « get away from it all « while still staying close to home.
