Once you cross the iconic five-arch bridge in Pakenham and follow the signs to White Lake, you’ll feel the weight of the everyday melt away. Just an hour from Ottawa and close to several charming small towns, Galini Lakehouse is ideal for outdoor adventurers, nature lovers, and anyone craving a peaceful lakeside escape.
Architecturally designed and thoughtfully styled, the cottage looks like it’s been lifted from the pages of a design magazine—but still feels cozy and welcoming. Natural light pours into the open-concept main floor, highlighting the freshly painted walls, soaring ceilings, and expansive windows that frame stunning lake views. The space is bright, breezy, and perfectly suited for relaxed summer living.
The main level features a spacious and beautifully furnished kitchen, dining, and living area. A large island seats 10 and makes a perfect gathering place, while the dining table seats 8 more. The kitchen is a chef’s dream, complete with high-end appliances and a layout designed for everything from family meals to private catering. Step through the sunroom and onto the lake-facing deck for a panoramic view you’ll never tire of.

Fairly flat property right from cottage to waterfront (some stairs down to the lower level of the lawn)





Waterfront The 160’ waterfront has southwestern exposure, with sunset views. There is a natural shoreline with shallow waters and hard sand/pebble/rock mix underfoot. The water deepens gradually. Weeds can vary from year to year, but it’s generally good for swimming. The best water entry is from the dock, via the ladder.
Boating The dock can accommodate boats up to 23’ in length. Depth is about 7 or 8’ deep off the dock.

White Lake Beach Park. Small park with boat launch area, swimming beach, and country convenience store. (25 mins)
Five Span Bridge Park. This five-arch bridge is one of kind in North America. Originally, the bridge was built for horses and carriages before being carefully restored and reinforced for modern day use in 1984.(35 mins)
Winter Activities. Ice fishing is available on the lake (bring your own equipment), and the cottage is near snowmobile trails. Snowshoeing is great on the lake, with many islands to explore.
Mount Pakenham Ski Resort. Mount Pakenham is family-owned and operated, and is Eastern Ontario's premier family ski, board and snowshoeing area. (40 mins)
