Please note that the café and ice cream parlour are open on weekends only, from April until the first week of October each year.
The geo-dome is set within its own private garden, boasting a patio area ideal for al fresco dining, complete with garden furniture and a BBQ. Inside, the dome comfortably sleeps six guests, with two double beds on the ground floor and a unique third double bed located above the fixed modular kitchen and bathroom, offering a prime spot for stargazing. The small kitchenette is well-equipped, allowing you to prepare simple meals with ease. The bathroom features an electric power shower for your convenience. Additionally, there is underfloor heating throughout the dome, ensuring a cosy and comfortable stay. A bijou dining and living area provides a welcoming space, complete with a Smart TV for entertainment.
Set in the rural locale of Thurnham, with views over the rolling countryside, it is located just a short drive from Lancaster city centre and close to the charming villages of Galgate and Glasson Dock, as well as the market town of Garstang. Historic Thurnham Hall is nearby, and ‘The Stork’ at Conder Green is within easy reach. This location perfectly balances tranquillity and convenience, with easy access to Lancaster’s city amenities and the university. Must-see attractions include Lancaster Castle, Williamson Park, and the butterfly house.
