Staff and management were exceptional. Very clean everywhere. We loved the nostalgia and modern decor put together. Great stay. Will stay there again if we find ourselves back in Lancaster.

The entire stay at the Art Hotel was great! The room was clean, beautifully decorated, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice. The overall industrial feel of the building was unique. The staff was friendly and helpful. The onsite parking was covered and the breakfast was a decent variety. This was our first time to Lancaster and will definitely stay at this hotel again if we return.

Everything was great from the breakfast to the cleanliness, service, etc. Wonderful. BUT the bed was terribly uncomfortable. We only stayed one night, but if we would have had to stay any more nights I would have asked for another room. I am not picky, but the bed was hard as a rock and very uneven leaning toward the headboard.

After a recent stay, we discovered bed bugs in our home. I called the hotel to notify them of a possible exposure, not to ask for anything. During my first call, the front desk representative hung up on me. I immediately called back and asked why the call was disconnected. She told me that no one else has ever said anything and implied the concern was not valid, then said, “Because you’re saying false things about our hotel,” and hung up again. Since that initial call, I have called six times total. Each time, the phone is answered and immediately disconnected without the representative saying hello. I was polite and calm every time. Regardless of where the issue originated, dismissing a guest’s concern and repeatedly hanging up instead of listening or documenting it is extremely unprofessional. I would have preferred to handle this privately, but it has been impossible to communicate with anyone at the hotel.

I love the decor of the hotel and room. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. Appreciated the Tarocco shampoo, condition and wash. It is fantastic! The hotel is conveniently located with plenty to do in Lancaster, PA.
