We found this gem accidentally. We decided to attend a dance competition last minute and needed a couple of rooms. I’d never heard of Tru but I trusted the Hilton Brand. This place could not have been more perfect. It was value priced, kid friendly and very clean. It is no frills but modern - no carpet thankfully, no dressers, nothing unnecessary but all the right stuff! The lobby was alive with families attending local sports tournaments and this hotel was equipped to entertain them with games, snacks and seating front and center. Hot/cold breakfast is included! It was the perfect choice for our needs.

Decent stay, just needs some TLC

Our room was standard, nothing out of the ordinary. Would I say that it was super clean? Probably not, it could stand to have a detailed cleaning. The sheets, pillowcases, comforter and towels did not have a pleasant scent to them at all. The comforters were extremely thin and not soft. I would say that it definitely served its purpose and if you’d ask me if I would stay there again? I’d say yes, hoping these small issues are resolved. Breakfast was good, they had cereals, oatmeal, sausage and eggs, juices, coffee and pancakes and different types of breads. The location was awesome! Everything you’d need like restaurants and shops are close by. I would probably give it a solid 3 stars and hoping that the issues I mentioned are resolved, then definitely 4 stars. Attention to detail would boost it to hopefully a higher rating.

Breakfast time is a mess. They are out of everything but only one staff was serving a breakfast area. That pancake machine always has a 20 min waiting line because that always out of a batter and staff was too busy to do something else. No milk. No syrup. no coffee cream. But still only one staff. Besides that it was OK.

We booked here as a last-minute booking due to a power outage at our original lodging. The lady at the front desk was very sympathetic to our situation and was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was substantial. It’s conveniently located near outlets, restaurants, shopping, and the Amish country.

The hallways are dirty looks like it hasn’t been vacuumed in months. For a Hilton I expect more. Could definitely be cleaned better. The elevator had trash in it and the room doors looked old and dirty as well. A quick vaccum in the hallways would make a world of difference. I was disappointed in the cleanliness. The staff was nice and the location is perfect
