Beautiful hotel with some great dining choices, particularly the Thai restaurant and main floor deli. The pool is awesome and lots of fun for families with an afternoon bubble blaster. I will definitely choose this hotel again if I come back to Mactan Island.

The pool was excellent but the closest washroom was under renovation and we had to walk much further to access the washroom in tbe lobby in our wet bathing suits. The Zumba pool exercises led by the staff was great. Could use more dinning restaurants options. The Bengarong Thai restaurant was a exquisite dinning experience for us.

The property itself is nice with a beautiful lobby that opens to a gorgeous view. The staff is also very courteous and friendly. However, be prepared to pay top $$$ for all the food. It’s not close to outside restaurants, so you’re pretty much stuck with the meal options at this hotel, which are really pricey! Even for a 5star hotel. The beds are also very small, with no double queens available if you have a family with older children. The next option is their super expensive suite that is only affordable for the super rich. Our showers also had brownish grime in the tiles and the shower head was loose like it’s been manhandled to many times. All in all a nice hotel but not worth the high price of the small rooms and food.

Excellent resort without a beach

Great resort hotel with fin activities nightly as well as at the pool areas. Excellent food and service staff. Very accommodating to our food allergies. Top notch by far. Beach is too rocky to enjoy at all.

We had a great time in this hotel, everyday they have plenty of activities. The staff is very accommodating, respectful and friendly, they are always smiling. Daniel from the concierge and Harumi (not sure if I remember his name correctly) and Cris from the restaurant are both exceptionally excellent. The foods, especially from the breakfast buffet are delicious and offered a lot of choices, kudos to the chef and his team! Will definitely be coming back and will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone I know. Thank you for this excellent experience!

When I arrived they said "they have one room available and it was at no charge", we made a reservation... why charge? The room was too small. had a Quinn size bed but only one side with drawers, no room for both sides with drawers as usual. The white towels were dusky, need bleach them or renew. breakfast, attention, was ok.

Ridiculous, I'm taking a shower with very little water pressure due to water pipe problem. Imagine, I'm on vacation and didn't stay at home to get great shower the I'm paying bigbucks to pipe problem? Terrible

Iit was an excellent experience. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided outstanding service. Our room was clean, spacious, The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The hotel's amenities, e.g., pool, gym, restaurant were great, and I enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Overall, I highly recommend Dusit Thani Mactan to anyone visiting Cebu It's a great value for the price, and I would definitely stay here again. Rating: 5/5 stars
