This cozy adobe casita is the perfect location for relaxing in Old Mesilla within a few blocks of its historic plaza. The area offers a variety of shopping, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and a Friday & Sunday farmer’s market. Casita is great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers and offers the comforts you need inside and out. The beautifully landscaped backyard has plenty of seating, gas grill, and gas fire pit.

The space
This cozy adobe casita is the perfect location for relaxing in Old Mesilla within a few blocks of its historic plaza. The area offers a variety of shopping, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and a Friday & Sunday farmer’s market. Casita is great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers and offers the comforts you need inside and out. The beautifully landscaped backyard has plenty of seating, gas grill, and gas fire pit.
This newly renovated historic adobe casita has over 960 square feet of inside space. Saltillo floors and adobe walls throughout. Talevera tile in bathroom with over-sized shower. Nice linens queen size bed & bad. Living room with sofa sleeper can be separated from the rest of the common areas by closing bypass doors. Separate completely equipped laundry room with mudroom. Relax in comfort with central cooling & heating. In the fully remodeled kitchen there are new appliances, plenty of dishes, and pans to cook up anything your heart desires.
This home offers secure WiFi. The living room has a 50” new flat screen smart TV and the bedroom has a 23” new flat screen TV. Using your login information, the smart TV’s can be used to stream television shows and movies from a variety of apps, like Netflix, Youtube, Amazon, and Hulu (among others). A digital antenna provides most local channels.
Folding desk is perfect for working on your laptop and can be used in any part of the home.
Beautifully landscaped private backyard and front porch facing the street. The backyard includes a pergola sitting area, sitting area with a fire pit, and a gas grill. From the inside and most of the outside you can have views of the steeples of Basilica San Albino Catholic Church and the Organ Mountains – in the winter.
Guests will have access to the entire casita with easy access to the keys via a coded lock. The code will provided upon booking. Attached covered single car carport for parking.

****There are approximately 2” single steps in/out of the bathroom, laundry room, and backyard. Very easy to navigate but it should be noted. Each step is clearly marked for safety.***

A comfy cozy casita that's walking distance to shops, restaurants, the Mesilla square and some local trails. The backyard is roomy and private with nice hangout spots and good vibes. The bed is comfortable (firm, like we prefer). There's also a washer/dryer which turned out to be quite convenient. We love the colorful decor and attention to detail in this beautiful, charming home and hope to return soon.

We have family that lives in Mesilla so we won't hesitate to book here again where we can be close to family without having to stay with family.

Charming 1 bedroom 1 bath in the heart of Mesilla

We loved staying in this clean and modern adobe home within a couple minutes walk of the historic Mesilla Plaza. The house has a huge kitchen with lots of counter space. It has a dishwasher, large fridge, gas stove, microwave and coffee maker, complete with all dishes and utensils, except it lacks a vegetable peeler. The listing says that it has 1.5 baths, but there is only one bathroom. However that bathroom is huge, with a giant walk-in shower and modern fixtures. The living and dining rooms are comfortable. The bedroom was adequate. It's in the back of the house and quiet. The Internet was fast and reliable. There's a giant TV in the living room and another in the bedroom. The only negative was the dryer. The lint filter wouldn't stay in and your clothes don't get dry unless you turn the dial all the way to hot. But the washer was great and we were able to get a couple loads clean and dry during our stay. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would definitely stay there again.

Great properry in Mesilla!

This property was easy to get to and in a convenient location, close to many restaurants, gas stations, and shopping, also close to the highways. Listing was as described. It was very well decorated, homey, and comfortable. I was able to easily locate everything within the home that I needed during my stay.

It is very conveniently located, close to many restaurants and boutiques.

Very cute and overall comfortable casita. My only suggestion would be to invest on a new sofa bed. The one there now is quite uncomfortable. And maybe some new sheets and towels.

The casita has good sized rooms. We had everything we needed. Walking to restaurants, shopping and the Mesilla square was very convenient. The backyard outdoor area was large and private.

Still a gem

I do love this place, which is why I return regularly. I’ve said it in my other reviews, but the main reason is probably the way the decor reflects the setting and location so well. But it is also spacious and comfortable. I’ll be back!

Very good. But someone should check the washer and dryer very carefully. Every 10 minutes. Water level seems too low in washer and dryer doesn’t stay hot/warm until clothes are dry. Please check each every ten minutes to analyzer problem. Maybe it’s just me🤔

Nice little place close to Old Mesilla.

This is a nice little place to stay if you're visiting Old Mesilla or Las Cruces! It was easy to find and to check in, everything we needed was provided including washer and dryer on the property which was nice. One bedroom and a pull-out couch was perfect for our 3-person family. I would recommend this place for a couple or a small family.
