The house ultimately served its purpose for our group, but our experience did not fully match the expectations set by the listing photos.There were several positives: the home is spacious, the pool service did arrive a couple of hours after check-in, and the pool eventually warmed up and was usable. The beds were moderately comfortable, and the house had enough room for a larger group.That said, there were a number of issues that made the stay feel less smooth than we had hoped. Communication with the host was slower than expected, which was frustrating when trying to address concerns. Upon arrival, all of the trash cans were full. We had paid extra to have the pool heated, but arrived to a dirty, cold pool. The hot tub also never became noticeably hotter than the pool itself.The home also showed more wear than the listing photos suggest. Several pieces of outdoor furniture were broken, some bathroom towel bars were broken, and the master shower drain was clogged. The house accommodates up to 16 people, so the lack of an ice maker was also inconvenient. The beds were acceptable, but the pillows were very thin and low quality.Overall, the home worked for what we needed, but the glamorous listing photos did not fully reflect the condition of the property. With more responsive communication, better maintenance, and a few basic upgrades, it could be a much stronger rental. As it stands, we would not choose to stay here again.
