Hotel is wonderful, check-in wasn’t

The hotel itself was wonderful. Beds were so comfy (one of the comfiest hotel beds I’ve ever slept in, honestly) and the room was so clean and very nice. The location was tucked away from the main road so it’s quiet but still close to lots of places to go eat. My only complaint is that check-in took nearly 45 minutes because the front desk person accidentally checked someone else into my room and it took her forever to figure out who it was and how to fix the situation. Mistakes happen, but I don’t know why a manager wasn’t on site to come help get it solved in a quicker fashion. We drove in from Salt Lake, and the last thing we wanted to do after sitting in a car for 6 hours was stand in a lobby for 45 minutes.

I usually stay at my place hotels when i travel. This was the first time i was disgusted with this place. Check in lady was rude. Barely said a word, not even a smile. They had no luggage carts upon check in OR checkout. Which is highly inconvenient when your disabled and have to go up and down carrying 1 thing at a time. They offered no help. Called the manager michelle who's cards were on the counter and she said she will call back in 5 mins and that was 3 days ago. At over $100 a night you'd think they can buy more then 1 luggage cart or at the very least manners. All handicapped parking was taken up by non handicapped persons. Another thing they seemed to not care about. Possibly never heard of the American disability act. When we finally got to our room, there was a box of tissues with used tissues stuffed inside. I've stayed here before and even recommended it to others. That will not happen again. I just wanted a decent place to stay while i buried my brother. Extremely disappointed in my stay. Only positive was the over night clerk who helped us with our luggage when he couldn't find the cart. He showed more customer service in our 10 min interaction then the whole staff did in our 3 days there.
