Host cancelled on us a few days before our stay. Booked this place about one year in advance and checked in periodically to confirm booking was still active, which it always was. Messaged host about one to two months before the reservation to confirm, and he said everything was still good. Host then attempted to get me to cancel one day before the refund deadline. I believe this was so that their rating would not be affected. I did not accommodate their request to cancel, so they chose to cancel two days before the reservation by using a fabricated reason. Anyone considering reserving with this host should be cautious.
