Average hotel, quite dated. Bathroom was serviceable at best, but well worn. Shower had no water pressure - badly needs an upgrade. Room was a good size, bed comfy, overall it was just ok compared to other places with a similar price point. Beware of the car parking, it’s subject to availability… which I learned the hard way. It was not disclosed at checkin… figured they would only sell what they had… I was wrong, they sell them to anyone and if you miss out bad luck… had to argue for a refund of the parking fee which was ridiculous. I then had to find a park somewhere else which wasn’t easy in the CBD…

Bathroom was an accessible bathroom, no problem as such, but it was prehistoric! Soooo dated, stainless steel shower with a rusty fold out seat on the wall. Floor appeared to have been lowered so toilet was way too high off the floor. Door to room had massive gap which provided no isolation for noise and heat from hallway

Best Western Plus in Launceston was not a bad stay. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. The room was relatively spacious and clean. Although we didn't require it, the room was made up each day which was a pleasant surprise. Be mindful, that our room did not have a separate shower (bath/shower combination) so if you have mobility issues, then you'll need to speak with the hotel. Why not 5 stars then? We found the hotel very noisy from within. Paper thin walls with loud talking and tvs from our noisy neighbours prevalent before 6am and then the banging doors. I know you can get this at some other hotels, it just seemed more obvious than many hotels we've stayed at previously. It is in a very convenient location and the price was reasonable.

Beautiful hotel in the CBD, walking distance to theatres, parks museums and shops. Very clean with friendly staff. Parking can be tricky. The buffet breakfast was pretty ordinary and will go à la carte next time. The tram bar was quite nice.

The hotel has a great location—close to everything, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the room was very dusty and had the musty feel and smell of an old building. My partner and I were sneezing constantly during our stay. We didn’t report it since we were out all day sightseeing and only came back to sleep, usually too tired to deal with the issue. We stayed for two nights, but based on the room condition, I wouldn’t choose this hotel again.
