The hotel has a great location—close to everything, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the room was very dusty and had the musty feel and smell of an old building. My partner and I were sneezing constantly during our stay. We didn’t report it since we were out all day sightseeing and only came back to sleep, usually too tired to deal with the issue. We stayed for two nights, but based on the room condition, I wouldn’t choose this hotel again.

Reliable and you know what you’ll get. Unfortunately the walls do not insulate noise so you get a bit of noise from outside rooms. The rooms on one side also face a loud Theatre, so if you have an early start make sure you request the other side. Theatre always done by 11pm though.

Good basic hotel that charges for parking.

Easy checkin. Room clean, very comfortable bed. Nothing really special about the hotel although is centrally located. Was very surprised when asked to pay $10 per day for parking.

We stay at the Best Western, Launceston when we are going to a show at the Princess Theatre next door. The bathroom is rather dated, but the shower is good. You need to specify a room with just a shower. They are on the top floor, level 6. Best thing is tge great breakfast! Everything available in a buffet, especially the pastries.

Decent sized room in the heart of Launceston with easy walking to restaurants, bars and shops. Limited parking behind the hotel but we found a spot. Room furniture and carpets are dated. If you're sensitive to noise, a church bell tolls often.

It was ok in general but it was not that very clean. We had to slightly move the bed and it was very dirty. I wish they could do deep cleaning once in a while. Plus different staff at reception give different information, bit confusing.

A great place for convenience to the CBD, football and park etc. Good restaurant, although the calamari was a bit overpriced. Rooms are spacious and modern, but is a bath with the shower in it, to step into. Nice big towels, and crisp white linen! Friendly staff, and parking, but it is an extra cost. Worth the convience though.
