The Space:
Nestled in a historic part of Launceston, Carinya is a beautifully restored and renovated home offering the perfect blend of character and modern comfort.
Located in the heart of Launceston’s vibrant CBD, you’ll find plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars to explore. Cataract Gorge, one of the city's must-see natural wonders, is only a 10-minute drive away.
From the moment you arrive, Carinya will feel like home with its manicured gardens and soft pink front door. Step inside to discover a bright, welcoming space, thoughtfully styled to create a relaxing atmosphere.
Three generous sized bedrooms - the master with King bed and the second and third bedrooms furnished comfortably with Queen beds.
Additionally, there’s a quiet study nook off the lounge, perfect for some peaceful downtime or catching up on work.
The cottage has two beautifully appointed bathrooms, including one with a luxurious bathtub, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring.
The open-plan lounge and dining area is flooded with natural light thanks to large double-glazed windows. The Neighborhood:
Newstead is a premium suburb of Launceston known for its leafy, tree-lined streets and heritage homes.
The home is just around the corner from the popular Deli, Alps and Amici, coffee shops, parks and a few hundred metres from Coles supermarket.
You will be within walking distance to the CBD, the Launceston General Hospital, and some of Launceston's main tourist attractions such as Penny Royal and Cataract Gorge for a longer walking or driving day trip.
Getting Around:
You can easily walk into Launceston central, or jump on a Metro Tasmania bus with stops just a short walk from the home on York Street to take you around town.
From December – April, free Tiger Bus services are also available 7 days a week, operating throughout Launceston.
Taxis and Ubers are also available to use.
