Hot Tub Tiny Home · Fire Pit · Romantic Hideaway

Yeats is a lofted tiny home for two — compact by design, comfortable by intention. Queen bed under the eaves, private hot tub on the patio, fire pit stocked and ready for the night ahead. Part of Notestone Reserve, our family-owned 14-acre property in Laurelville — right in the heart of the Hocking Hills.

Most guests spend the whole stay in their own lane: hot tub, fire pit, patio. It sits in a small cluster of four tiny homes at Notestone Reserve, our family-owned 14-acre property in the Hocking Hills. Each unit has its own outdoor space — privacy panels around the hot tub and natural shrub and tree coverage between units keep things feeling separate without being walled off. The shared game room is a short walk across the property when you want it, easy to skip when you don't.

Named for W.B. Yeats, whose work was always reaching for something just beyond the ordinary — the kind of thing that gets easier to find when you actually stop moving.

Sleeping

• Lofted queen bed with crisp linens — the beam above the bed sits approximately 29" from the mattress, so you'll want to sit up carefully. Once you're lying down it's perfectly comfortable; just something to know going in.
• A note on the loft stairs: the staircase is a standard build for a tiny home — all to code, but the ceiling comes down as you climb and the last step up is higher than the others. Most guests navigate it without issue. If stairs are a mobility concern, our glass homes — particularly Thoreau, which has level entry from the parking area — are worth a look instead.
• Sleeps 2

Outside

• Private hot tub (striped towels provided — hot tub and bath towels are kept separate)
• Propane grill with tools
• Woodburning fire pit — firewood and a starter log are ready when you arrive. Extra wood in the outdoor box at the far end of the home or by the shipping container. Keep the lid closed so it stays dry.
• Seating for two with blankets for the cooler months
• Privacy panels around the hot tub and natural shrub and tree coverage between units

Inside

• Kitchenette with cooking essentials — pots, pans, utensils, and a starter supply of basic pantry items
• Coffee bar: coffee maker, coffee, and tea
• Spa-style bathroom stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion
• Towel sets for every use: bath, hand, face, makeup, and dedicated hot tub towels
• Smart TV with streaming capabilities
• Bluetooth speaker
• Starter kit on arrival: 2 rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, a kitchen sponge, and trash liners. Worth packing a little extra for longer stays.

The Shared Game Room (open to all Notestone guests — a short walk across the property)

• 85" Smart TV
• Pool table and foosball
• Basketball arcade, classic arcade machines, and a racing game

Getting Here and Getting Around

Notestone Reserve sits in the heart of the Hocking Hills — close enough to hit two or three trails in a day and still be back in time for the fire.

• Rock House — 3.3 miles · 7 min
• Conkle's Hollow — 8.8 miles · 15 min
• Old Man's Cave — 11 miles · 20 min
• Ash Cave — 16 miles · 28 min

Cedar Falls, Cantwell Cliffs, and the rest of the state park system are all within a short drive. Cell signal on the back-country roads can be spotty — download your directions before you leave home.

Under normal conditions the driveway is accessible in just about any vehicle. During winter months when ice and snow are a factor, we recommend 4WD or AWD for the back roads leading in — the driveway to Yeats itself is typically fine without it.

About the WiFi

We run Starlink satellite internet. It holds up well for most things — streaming, music, casual browsing. Video calls and long phone calls can cut out occasionally, especially on overcast days. If you're planning to work remotely, it can work, but plan for the occasional hiccup. We'd rather tell you upfront than have you find out mid-Zoom.

A Note on the Setting

We're in a wooded area and stay on top of regular pest control. That said, a ladybug or a curious spider showing up is just Hocking Hills being Hocking Hills.

Check-in: 4:00 PM · Check-out: 10:00 AM

A Few House Rules

We're a small, family-owned operation, and keeping Notestone calm and well-kept is a group effort. A few things we ask:

• No parties or events, including bachelor/bachelorette groups. And no glitter — it genuinely never goes away.
• Registered guests only on the property
• No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property, indoors or out
• No fireworks, ATVs, hunting, or weapons on the property
• No commercial photography or video without written approval
• Hot tub: striped towels only, keep the cover on between soaks, and please don't adjust the temperature • below 100 degrees — it takes several hours to recover
• Septic system: flush toilet paper only, no garbage disposal at the sink
• 4WD/AWD recommended during winter months

Before You Arrive

All guests sign a short renter's agreement after booking. We'll send it over — quick, painless, and it helps us take good care of you and everyone else on the property.

The perfect place for a quiet get away

Notestone Reserve is my favorite place in Hocking Hills. It's so cozy, has everything you need including cozy outdoor blankets, and beautiful nature views. You can't beat taking a hot tub dip under the tree tops and twinkly stars. The host Stacy was amazing, answering any question we had to ensure we had the best possible visit. She even made sure to return a jacket I left in the cabin. So easy to access fun hikes and then have a quiet weekend.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

From the moment we walked in the door, we fell in love with this tiny house! Perfectly decorated with a lot of personal touches that made it feel like home. The outdoor area with fire pit, hot tub and grill were a perfect place to relax in the evening. The only suggestion I could make would be to have an extra set of bath towels.

Just got back from a weekend stay in the Yeats tiny house. We had a great stay. The A/C worked great during 90 degree weather. The bed was very comfortable and the sleeping loft was very cozy. Everything that you need is provided. The only tiny issue we had was the water temperature in the shower randomly fluctuating from warm to ice cold. The game room area was very nice and was a fun little bonus. The whole Notestone Reserve area had a great look and feel. The logo design and signage were very nice and give it a very polished look. Highly recommended!!!

This tiny home was everything we expected and more. It was so cozy, had a wonderful fire pit outdoor space, hot tub privacy, and so much more. It was easy to tell that thought and care went into every single detail. From the decor, the coffee pot and press, dishes and glasses, outdoor blankets, hot tub towels, super comfy mattress and bedding, lit up tiny house name signs, grill and more - Notestone Reserve did not miss a beat. There is plenty of parking if you are traveling with more than one vehicle. We walked to the community building where we played pool, video games, and board games. The owners were so quick to get back to us when we had a question. It was so peaceful and relaxing. In the future, we would most definitely stay at Notestone again and have already recommended to friends and family.

Everything was as expected, very clean, pretty neat place. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but I'm pretty picky about beds. Bumped my head a few times on the beam above the bed, there's not much headroom. None of that was anything that would normally botger me much, but the spoiler for me was the shower. The tankless water heater kept having to re-light, causing cold water to come out for quite a while before it would get hot again. The control valve for the shower was very loose, so the temp didn't want to stay set, which led to cofusion on whether the water heater had gone out again, or if the temp just wasn't set where i wanted it. We never notified the host about it, so I can't complain too much. The whole place seemed very well done and well taken care of, so I'm sure it will get fixed now that they know about it. The hot tub was awesome! Definitely made me forget about the cold shower!
