decent price for a nice room. You are right on the Trans Canada hwy so don't be surprised by trucks running all night. Actually found it relaxing in a way. Deep River is a picturesque town on the Ottawa river and hub of the story of nuclear power in Canada. The outdoor and recreational opportunities are many are varied. Sam's food truck, located at the motel, has some great eats at a reasonable price. My wife really enjoyed the fish and chips calling the batter light and tasy. The gravy on the poutine with real curd was very tasty and protions were nice size. Also checked out Godfather's Pizza and definitely very good pizza!

Nice clean room and friendly staff. Would recommend to the hotel staff to have filtered curtains. The only choice was to have blackout blinds closed, or to have no privacy. Curtains would allow for light to come in but to have privacy as well. The traffic from the highway was also very loud so headsup for any light sleepers.

Room was very clean. Staff was very friendly Hotel room was kept uncomfortably cold, bedding was super thin, no extra blankets, very cold night. I have stayed here before without issue, but that was in the summer. I wouln't stay here in the winter again.

It was the best room on our travel across canada so far, and the price was right, very clean and comfortable as well. One item could be added, grab bars would be nice, the tub is slippery when wet. We did enjoy our stay. Thank you very much.
