The front office staff were rude and the spa was closed. When we asked why the spa was closed we got a different version from the front office to the apparent manager. They did not help to get us a spa treatment elsewhere. There was no apologies or compensation for the lack of services. There was construction happening at the back of our villa and the noise was unpleasant. One afternoon it was actually quiet and we decided we would have a nap, we placed the do not disturb sign on our door and locked it. Housekeeping were yelling from outside the gate to come in and then rang the phone. They were surprised that we did not wish to be disturbed and they said it is my last shift I want to say goodbye. They showed a lack of boundaries for guests spaces. It is extremely disappointing because we were returning guests and our last experience was nothing like this. Despite these things we had a wonderful time as we were helped by locals to find masseuses to go to. The bar staff were very friendly and looked after us.

We stayed in a garden bure which was clean, comfortable and spacious. They had a large menu for a relatively small resort. All meals were very tasty and very good quality. Staff are super friendly.

Awesome resort. Definitely a truer "fiji feel" than staying out at Denarau, super friendly staff, cozy rooms and awesome food. A little out of the way from Nadi though so be prepared to pay for taxis or shuttles for any other experiences

The room was spotless,spacious, very comfy bed, great aircon, a ceiling fan, great water pressure in the shower. The staff were excellent and so friendly, remembered your name almost immediately. Great food, great views, this resort reminded me of Fiji when I was a child. No cookie cutter rooms, restaurants, gyms etc…..this is an authentically Fijian experience with the comforts we want yet so relaxed and laid back - not an “influencers” paradise but a place where you can really relax, rest, and get away from it all. I absolutely loved it and will be back.

I just returned from First Landing, and all I can say is "Wananavu!" The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The resort grounds were inviting and relaxing. I really appreciated the serene, laid back vibe and atmosphere. The location is a short ride from Nadi and Port Denarau Marina for easy access to many options for daily excursions.

We had an amazing time staying at First Landing Resort with our family of five! Our villa was spacious, clean, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Having laundry in the villa was such a great addition — especially with kids, it made things so much easier. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Breakfast was decent, though it could use a bit more variety, and restaurant options around the resort were a bit limited. Overall, it’s a lovely, peaceful place with wonderful staff and a family-friendly atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

A great cost effective option for staying close to Nadi and the airport, has a small beach, close to a marina and lovely sea view and sunsets. Great to hear of the history as well. And best of all the staff were lovely, even remembered our names when they greeted us the next morning. Nice dining under the palms trees and on sand, fun seeing the warriors dance - easy entertainment.
