We arrived to be met by a lady who could not speak any English; my husband speaks French but we struggled to follow her. The apartment was very dusty and had cobwebs with mould in the shower cubicle. It was musty and felt as if it had not been cleaned since winter.
Our details with VBRO had listed bed linen and towels - as had Abritel, the French site - but there were none at the apartment. We called the lady who shouted at us on the phone but eventually arrived to argue more, saying we had to pay extra. We pointed out that linen and towels were included and listed on the sites but she would not accept it. She eventually went to one of the other apartments in the block and returned with 2 small bath towels and three small hand towels (for three adults for a week). She gave us very damp bed linen and left in a hurry. We had no more contact with her or anyone else for the week. We left the apartment cleaner than when we first went in. We love the area - we used to live not too far away for many years - but this left a bad taste. We will not be returning to this chalet apartment.
Appartement idéal pour une famille de 4 personnes.Bien équipé, l’ajout d’un banc en bois devant l’entrée serait super pour pouvoir retirer ses chaussures de ski avant de rentrer.L’appartement donne directement sur les navettes qui amènent au pied des pistes et au village.
J’ai eu du mal à différencier les appartements dans l’annonce mais la propriétaire a été très conciliante merci ! L’appartement était très bien, adapté aux enfants, la balançoire un plus très confortable.
Logement correct et fonctionnel pour 4 adultes voir 6 en utilisant le canapé dans la pièce principale, bien situé pour l'activité ski et rando. Dans le cas de ce logement situé au rez de chaussée il y a peu de photos sur l'annonce, la terrasse donne sur le parking. Prévoir les fournitures de bases (papier toilette, sacs poubelle, huile, sel etc...) les produits d'entretien sont fournis. Le bémol est, que nous avons oublié dans le frigo une partie de nos courses, nous n'avons pas eu l'information de notre correspondante bien qu'une partie du groupe soit passée 2 heures après notre départ pour redéposer le second jeu de clés au logement, pas très sympa, dommage.
Beaucoup plus de place que dans d’autres appartements, assez proche du centre, et comme on avait notre chien très pratique d’avoir un accès de plain pied. Par contre les deux autres appartements on probablement une meilleure vue m, la nôtre étant un parking et le mur du voisin.
Pas loin du centre, au calme, grand logement bien équipé.
Propriétaire charmante et sans chichi.
Bref, un très bon séjour.
Seul bémol pour l’appartement du rdc qui offre un extérieur avec vue sur le parking du voisin.
Je recommande vivement
Le chalet est situé à 1km500 du centre du GRAND BORNAND, où il y'a tous commerces, en 15 minutes à pied, donc pas besoin de prendre la voiture.
L'appartement est spacieux avec entrée dans la cuisine où se trouve un canapé lit, le lave vaisselle, un four micro onde, un four normal ainsi que toute la vaisselle.
Un couloir desserre 2 chambres, une salle de bain, les WC et un local débarras.

Absolument parfait !
Appartement vraiment très bien équipé et bien agencé pour une famille avec deux adolescents. Propriétaire cordiale et disponible. Très proche du village mais loin de l’agitation, skibus a 50 mètres ... Rien à redire, ravis de notre séjour.

Spacious, well equipped property in great location
The apartment is very well equipped and is very spacious. There are lovely views from the balcony and we had meals outside here everyday.
The nearby cable car takes you up to the lovely mountains behind perfect for cycling and walking. I would recommend the apartment and hope to return in the future.
